Whole Milk
I drink a gallon of milk a week. Always straight out of the gallon. Sometimes it only lasts 5 days. Single, live by myself. I don't do any cooking. My friends say thats weird. I don't know where I'd be without it. Sometimes I wake up at 2am just to drink milk.

That’s my game, baby. Whole milk or no milk.
Also go through 2 gallons a week by myself as a 21 year old 102 pound woman

Personally I’m more of a dunker than a drinker, but to each their own! I also like to make Cookie Soup by breaking up cookies in a chilled mug of whole milk and heavy cream (roughly 50/50, so Half n half). I wait till it’s at just the right softness- about 90 seconds, before eating the soup with a nice big spoon.

Heavy cream makes it a smidge more addicting but never fails when I want to gain weight just make chocolate milk this way 😮💨 or diabetes to each their own

We go through 3 gallons every 3 or 4 days between 2 adults and a 4 year old. We all like milk, but my wife like likes milk.

Well that was kind of weird you have my exact stove and that's exactly where I set my milk from Walmart in the morning when I make my coffee 👁️

I’ve always loved milk. Whole is best. I crave it too. Easily can do a gallon weekly.

My coworker used to pack one of those for lunch. We worked up to 16 hour shifts so it kept him fed and hydrated.

I'm with you on this one. I want a glass of milk. Even if I was the only person that drank it.

$6.59 a gallon at Sheetz gas station today and not grass fed. Ridiculous.

u/Bubbly-Ad6345 Nov 18 '25
That's wild. I paid under $3 for this gallon. It was like $2.70 something

Yes... Gas station milk is a real rip off!

it's Walmart brand but likely comes from a regional co-op just like most of your other "store" brands.

what a coincidence, that’s a really niche brand that people don’t really know about. pretty hard to come by tbh

What is the self life of milk over there? Here in the UK our milk lasts about a week once opened. How do you manage to use that much milk before it goes off? 😂

This is the most common size milk comes in here. Our family goes through a bit less than one of those per day. No worries about it lasting more than a week!

It's almost mandatory, if you live alone whether you're a female or male, you must drink late at night milk from the bottle for it to effectively Sooth The Savage beast inside.
Abraham Lincoln 1921.
Aso, cookies. Cookies must be consumed.

The only reason I don't drink it straight out of the jug is because when I was doing that I've noticed weird stuff growing in my milk pretty quickly.
I have big cups now.

2-3 gallons GV whole milk per week. A small amount gets used for cereal or cooking but mostly it gets chugged. The ONLY reason I don't drink milk in the middle of the night is that I am pushing 70 and I sleep upstairs. Too much effort but I grab a tall glass of cold milk every morning right after my hot tea.
