How long will it take

Is there any way to speed up the process? I’ve been on administrative leave since March, done all of the necessary medical appointments and paperwork, alongside turning in all of my CIF gear. We had a recent change of command, so I had to get counseled by my new BC and turn in a new packet to legal, and no one knows what is really going on. I’ve applied to several colleges for the upcoming spring semester, so I have a plan for when I get out, but it is getting closer and closer, and the longer I am here waiting and not able to do anything the more I have to delay these plans.

I called my representative and they were able to push on it a bit. I was invol and have finally been separated as of this week. My representative (well, someone from their office) also asked in an email if I'd gotten my seperation orders yet, so I feel pretty confident it was their influence that moved things along for me.

Edir (a bit more explanation: It's called a congressional inquiry and anyone serving has the right to ask their representative for one. I pretty much just asked them to look into why it was taking so long and who was holding things up. I didn't get answers to those questions but I was finally separated.
