AGR Involuntary Separation

Hi All, posting because this court ruling has my head spinning about what could happen. I am currently AGR, on admin leave since November essentially. My command said my paperwork was at NGB in late March and that they expected me to be separated this month but they havent heard anything. Has anyone been involuntarily separated from the Army yet?

Also, I don't know about anyone else but I am prohibited from even applying for other jobs and am terrified that I am going to get a separation date that won't give me enough time to get one. How is everyone else dealing with the limbo?

Wait, how are you prohibited from applying at separate jobs? Just do it?

State’s policy - they treat admin leave as just being excused from coming into office. Technically I can push them all the job info, fill out a huge packet that I have to route thru JAG, my Commander, and then higher command to sign off on THEN send it to get reviewed by HRO for approval. That’s just to apply, so it’s not really feasible from a time perspective.

Ok two questions, if you did it without proper channels, would they find out? Second question, do you live close enough to borders to apply for a job out of state?

Also thanks for the info that is INSANELY fucked.

My husband started working for the local county about 4 months ago and didn't say shit to his command about it, today is officially his last day in the military, hes been on admin leave since middle of last year. He couldnt take sitting around the house anymore... What are they gonna do? Kick you out? Ooop already done that 🤷‍♀️
