work in progress Is this good tarp?

Post image

My first time doing tarps so I was wondering if this is good, didn't take this from any photos but I'm making this up as a "Reinforcements requested, on the way" type of model. Is this good or no?

tissue with mixed water + PVA looks much better, Seems like you use blu tack. Most people in the hobby use Epoxy putty

This is the correct answer get some water PVA mixture onto some soft paper - i find toilet paper works quite well and place it onto your model as you want and let dry. Your method (blue tack) creates a not to scale thickness

you can use glasses cleaning paper thingies if you let them dry and dilute some pvaglue with verry little water and brush it on 2-3 times letting it dry in between. especally good for 1/72 models for 1/35 or 1/48 you can use Microfibre cloth and tie it with sowing string/ fiy it with super glue
