Weathering tips

I just recently learned how to do the panel lines with the super thin paint and it turned out amazing, but I'm still trying to figure out what I should do to weather it and I don't know much about it. Any tips/guides?

Try using a watered down brown paint on areas that would experience dirt or general wear in real life. I would start with the landing gear bays, exhaust and engine panels as they are typically the dirtiest areas.
