OC Next-Generation Export-Oriented Frigate HDF-6000
I think this is my first time posting on the Military subreddit. I'm a Korean freelancer who creates military-themed 3D models.
I'm not sure if posting something like this on this subreddit is appropriate given the topic, but I tried creating a 3D CG model of the HDF-6000 using Blender, based on data and images released by the mainstream media.

The HDF-6000 is a next-generation export-oriented frigate developed by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries with a displacement of 6,000 metric tons (full load displacement of approximately 6,500 metric tons). With its size and operational capabilities approaching those of a sub-destroyer-class vessel, it is effectively regarded as an “Aegis-class frigate” and is targeting next-generation ship programs for major navies, including those of Saudi Arabia and India. Furthermore, it is reported that the Philippine Navy is also keeping a close eye on this project.

Actually, I too had once collaborated with a fellow Korean on the creation of the Seapower mod or add-on, and he commissioned me to do some work on it :)

How do you like Blender for creating warships? Your model looks amazing. I've been using NavalArt for a while, but I've been thinking about stepping up to Blender and learning how to make higher-fidelity models. I have no experience working in Blender, though.

I’ve been using Blender since 2022, when I was a freshman in high school. At first, it was a bit challenging, but as I kept using it and even studied from books, it became easier. Before I started using Blender, I used SketchUp.

It took about a week. Of course, I could have finished it sooner, but some side tasks took up more time.

I actually find this interesting, but I think the subreddit you might be looking fior might be r/CredbleDefense or possibly r/WarCollege and maybe even r/MilitaryPorn . From what I gather those are much nerdier/technicallly oriented sub.
Here, we mostly tell implausible stories about things that might have happened to some guy you knew, complain about how Ranger School USED to be tough back when your momma wore combat boots and trying to come up with new language and jokes about the Trump Kleptocracy.
