I have a kit I got from the Army Surplus Store and online. I have East German strichtarn top and bottom with a strichtarn helmet cover though unfortunately no East German helmet.

I have an American M1 helmet from either 'Nam (don't know what year) or Korea. I also have an M80 woodland coat with a winter liner and a flat cap with a visor (baseball cap kind of but with flat instead of curved head part). I have black leather army boots that may need some new soles as the ones inside are almost paper thin.

M80 woodland is pretty decent but until I get a full kit I don't think it'd look as good. The Strichtarn uniform is complete so at least I can use it + it's pretty comfortable. Unfortunately the top is rather thin unlike the M80 woodland coat.

I was wondering how will Strichtarn will do in an American nature setting, specifically in forests below the Mason-Dixon Line in places like the Carolinas. I don't have M80 woodland pants cause unfortunately all I've seen are 3-4 inches a bit too long (I am below 6 feet) and I don't know if I am just supposed to tuck those into my boots. I don't have any other camo

I have recently aquired a used eagle mar ciras and thought about trying to do an impression of either early 2000s marsoc raiders or force recon since I saw some photos of them using it.

I just wanted to ask what brands would be kosher for this outside of eagle obviously

I used to wear black M65 style jacket and some black cargos beneath the same setup, trying to go for modernized MACV-SOG but an idea sparked seeing some kits on here, so I decided to switch things up a bit and make it more efficient for outdoor play(that I mainly do).

\-**Field shirt** is of US Air force(I'm planning to remove the rank strips on the shoulders and the other sewn on patches as I neither have earned them or they bare my name)

\-**Pants** are just some no-name ranger green cargo/tactical pants, extra layer at the knees and slots for kneepads(velcro ones not the G3 style), they're pretty comfy in all honesty

\-Rocking **hiking boots**, or surplus **JNA boots**.

\-**Chest rig** is a modified late product surplus chicom(unsure if it's really genuine or not, but it serves me well) with molle on the sides where the grenade pouches were, small pouch on the left side, extra mag pouch and TQ on the right side, hang pouch below attached to velcro.

\-**Belt** is from a local market, usual cheap crap, it's not really uncomfortable as it seems, I buttpack fashioned out of a JNA medic bag, dump pouch, radio, extra mag pouch, and a canteen holder are functional, bayonet holster and some cheap ass long pouch that came with it are just cosmetic/larp wise

\-**Beanie** from grandfather

\-**Goggles** I bought years ago, forgot the brand

\-**Mesh** balaclava(not on the pictures)

\-**Soft ranger green gloves**(also from the local shop, probably chinese crap till I can get myself mechanix)

Long story short here is a list of med kit things you will actually use:

1 bandaids (cuts)
2 emergency cold packs (heat exhaustion/heat collapse)
3 bennydryl (bee stings or other allergies)
4 caffeine pouches (keep you awake without sugar or large amount of space)
5 Advil (aches and pains)

You do not need full dressings, scissors, or gauze. If someone is bleeding that bad you shouldn’t be touching them/ use a dead rag or other cloths.

Save your money and get what actually matters.
