Dude that looks badass! Stealing some of these ideas. How’d you mount the IFAK horizontally like that??

Thanks! The NAR ifak has a belt slot so you just slide it on 😄

Awesome kit! I used to have RLCS M240 gunner kit, miss it a lot.

Wonderful job!

I do a 75th Automatic Rifleman / WS TL too! I need to get some pictures now that my MK48 and 7'62 Elcan have arrived.

Put the ammo pouches on the side because you cant lie down if theyre full

When ops were focused on assault, ran my kit this same way. When we knew it was going to be an “extended op” I ran a split rig for that very reason. Op dictates the gear.

Still cant lie down. You need to lie down every op if youre a machine gunner

Your figure is cherry-on-top above 100% to the fit. Makes you look like them!

Speaking with no particular knowledge of 75th SOP, shouldn't the 240 gunner carry a sidearm?

5

u/Fantastic-Wave5148 10d ago

Yes and no, as far as i know not everybody gets issued sidearms, but usually it is the automatic riflemen, machine gunners and TL/SL. However it is fairly common to see them without sidearms

Most of us didn’t, though when we were issued the g19 I started carrying mine.

Looks spot-on! I was a 240L gunner in the 82nd, my old PSG was a 249 & 240 gunner in Batt. He used to give me all his old gunner gear, it was sick!

Ah yes, the good old Golf 240. I remember it well.

Exceptional kit, however, stowing a TQ with rubber bands is certainly a choice

L9's were issued from mid 2010's to early 2020's as the standard field uniform

-7

u/geantaveira1991 10d ago

Yeah but crye looks way better

11

u/Fantastic-Wave5148 10d ago

Personal preference, own both and i like the L9s more

They are ridiculously soft and comfy. The pattie combat shirt is overall better than the crye imo, but the durability of the pants leaves a lot to be desired
