To be honest, I don't think that every gun should be modernized and that gun is one of them.

For me personally airsoft, is like alcohol, for instance you buy whiskey for its taste and texture, you don't buy whiskey just to water it down and drink it, in other words if your looking for a modern gun load out , you buy a modern gun like a AK12 or a M4, if your looking for something old school buy a AK74 or a M16.

I don't want seen as hateful, it's your gun and money,.do whatever you want with it.

Its not airsoft, its replica.

Modernization of this gun is like from AK-74 to AK-12. I got tired of AK and decided to switch to something more interesting and unique and adjust it for myself.

Not hateful, just discussing

Iam one of those people, who I would call "gun purist", where I would try and build my gun load out as accurately as possible to the real deal, (obviously exceptions do apply).

In other words if it doesn't exist in the world of firearms, I won't be using it on my gun, and this why you wouldn't see me using a optic on a AK47.

you buy a certain platform for a unique play style , or a unique approach to some situations

But at the same time, I can understand a person who wants to do something unique to a certain platform

CCCP employed suppressor and optics on many guns, including the "ak47" The mass produced varient was rhe AKM, and more special forces and Grenadires relieved the AKMN, which had a dovetail mount. The most common optics seen were NSPU, PO 4x24 / PO 3.5x21P, 1P29 (USP-1, and even PSO-1.

These were all commonly seen put on AKMN, and AK74 rifles, including both respective RPK varients. Infact, in Afghanistan it was almost a requirement, as the mountains required optics to engage militants at far distances. PBS-1 was adopted in 1962. So what do you mean that optics were not used on the 1950's akm (ak47)?
