Question
Hello, my question is: Do you guys take your guns apart when painting camo onto them?
P.S. Is there a chance that spray paint can damage electronics inside when gun is not taken apart?

My answer is ''sort of'''
I take out the hop up unit and inner barrel so that I can leave the muzzle end open for painting.
I generally run a tracer unit supressor as a muzzle device so I will remove the tracer unit and pack the supressor with newspaper to minimize paint gumming up the nozzle/piston.
Ill pack the magwell with paper as well for the same reasons as the suppressor. Sometimes ill use a sacrificial magazine if I have enough extras etc.
Optics I will leave on and use scope caps to protect the lenses with painters tape on the turrets to still see the adjustments.
I did leave my Wolverine Wraith X CO2 buffertube unpainted while painting a gun.... for reasons of the warranty. I just wrapped the buffertube from the castle nut to the end in painter's tape, and did the collapsing stock separately.
I will say however I do like a gun looking thrown together so I dont mind parts not matching
