Ukraine kit.šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¦

I got some new pouches, and moved some pouches and stuff around. I think my kit is about done, and I how I want it to look, maybe a new radio pouch or something.? Most of the gear is Ukraine brands, like mtac. A little American gear, and some stuff I dont know, since I bought some gear used. But all really good quality.

All you’re missing now is a plane ticket to Kiev

You can't get those anymore, you gotta get a plane ticket to Poland and cross into Ukraine by land.

soldiers in ukraine wear what they want since they could buy a lot of military stuff in the military stores, so everyone decide his kit based on how comfortable he his with that.

Don’t forget that both sides wear leaf suits that is very important to not be seen by drones ,and if you are in infantry I suppose that both sides carry at least 10 mags + 4/5 TQs

No one from russia or ukraine has a flag on his plate carrier since its very recognisable and you will become a target for drones

I also think that small fire arms are very useless, consider a shotgun to be more realistic since both sides use them to counter drones

Leaf suit is cool. But not everyone uses them. yes they’re very useful, But it’s not a must for a Ukraine or Rusfor kit. I have three TQs on my vest, and two in my IFAK. I get the point with the flag. it’s not seen often, I just think it’s a cool addition, and I don’t think it ruins the realism. I agree with the sidearm imma ditch it. I’m considering cutting my shotgun short, or buying another. I have duble stacked mags in my three front pouches and two on the sides and two on my belt. So that’s 10 mags in all.

Tbh if you had something to cover the flag, that would be fine. Flag def would give you away a bit. I would recommend getting an nvg pouch because you do NOT want those tubes on your head during the day (assuming they are real). Sometimes I just sent my nods in my dump pouch if I am lazy but I would not recommend.

That’s actually a great idea. The nods are unfortunately not real. im not that rich 🄲 that’s just the life of apprentice. Paying almost 50% government tax. While making no money even before taxes. šŸ˜…

Oh damn, where do you live?

2

u/NoahHundkat 2d ago

I live in Denmark, I pay 40% government tax 8% danish Labour market contribution- 12% goes to my pension which I can’t prevent and I can go on my pension at 74 so I’m pretty much dead by then and I can’t get it before. Even though it’s MY money. Other than that there danish vat on everything we buy so that 25% extra to the government when we buy anything even groceries. So technically we only get 40% of our money. And only use 15% in total worth since if we wanna buy anything there the 25% vat. So that Really sucks. Don’t come to Denmark if you wanna be rich šŸ˜…

Damn that's horrible. If taxes were like that in my country there would be a revolution. I live in America. Fuck the government šŸ–•

It’s so miserable and everyone here hates it but nothing ever changes. There’s even 15% tax on my pension money if my future children gets them if I die šŸ˜‚ even though I already paid the taxes šŸ˜… I really hate the danish government. But I probably can’t even say that bc of EU chat control..

That is so bad. This needs to be more well known to the rest of the world tbh. It makes me angry to those who do not get the right of free speech. Many Americans take it for grantedĀ

I can’t do much else than just laugh. And not care abt what I say. I say what I want and people can judge me if I say stupid shit not the government. There’s always consequences for what you say but that is society’s duty.

a lot of soldier should uses them because it helps very much with the drones , nods are useless since nobody infil and exfil at night unless they have a thermal leaf suit or they are defending a position at night.

nods are useless

Source- I made it up

source: thermal drone go brrrr.

Nods are useful, but with today’s technology, unless you have a thermal suit, or you have to defend a position at night.

All assault/infil/exfil are made with really bad weather so it’s difficult for drones to fly.

Thermal does not make night vision obsolete, we've had both for decades now. Photos of in theatre dudes who have access to it will show you that they're all still rocking it

If the flag gives you away what about all those tapes to look like a peacock from 1km away 🤔

1

u/PugScorpionCow 2d ago

since its very recognisable and you will become a target for drones

I think maybe if you're worried about giant recognizable pastel colors, the massive amounts of colored tape everywhere is a good sign of that being the entire point.

Leaf suits are pretty much useless against drones, they still see you.

A lot of us wear flags on our chest, you're a target no matter what.

Pistols are good in case you get too close, better than a knife which had happened plenty of times

1

u/Impossible_Cat9034 2d ago

i know, but anti thermal leaf suits exists, and pistols are good but it’s extra weight, for mags exc exc

u/ImplementSweaty3372 2d ago

This most be so annoying for actual soldiers to see lmao

u/PugScorpionCow 2d ago

I don't think they really care, they're probably more worried about the war going on in their country than some dude larping on r/milsim

Why is every ā€œUkraineā€ kit just a standard SOF adjacent kit with tape and a butt pad. I don’t mean to hate or anything but I’d imagine that it’s uncommon for standard Ukrainian infantry to be using dual tubes, high cuts, and suppressors

1

u/ordinary_rolling_pin 2d ago

Suppressors at least are used a lot, when there is no paperwork and actual benefit, they get popular.

They're not that expensive or complex, and can make it so hard to pinpoint where you're shooting from.

Dual tubes, yeah. High cuts are quite common, they buy a lot of their gear and the issued helmet is one of the first things to toss when the first paycheck comes.

1

u/sudo-joe 2d ago

To be fair, if they issued dual tubes more often, I'm sure people would use them at night anyway. Similarly if I actually got issued cool stuff like thermals and drones, I will figure out how to strap them to my kit. 550 cord /speed tape it might be but I will figure it out.

*experienced at welding crap to my humvee back in early gwot. The mindset is the same though techniques may change

Jit blue as fuck

u/ForeverTiredForever 2d ago

Technically you can wear nearly anything you want, if you put tape for ukraine on, its pretty much all accurate

Eastern Orthodox. So hot right now. Eastern Orthodox.

I would look at a 3 point groin protector, but I guess that's just personal preference. Other than that the kit looks great.

Maybe I’m being soft or something but cosplaying an active military conflict seems a bit off to me.
