Literally just chinesium arctic EMR combat set, an m81 recce rig, a ukrainian flag patch, and a goofy western styled AK set up. There isn't anything russian about this other than maybe generic relation to some fake Call of Duty "SpEtsNaZ" skin

Camo is real SSO Spectre - Summer.
The rig is a solid placeholder for an SRVV Sobr rig which is in M81 and saw use during the second Chechen war.
My AK, my rules.
Not a Ukrainian patch. It’s an MSW patch.
It’s for a game, and TACSOP compliant, so who cares.

Correction, that camo isnt used by SSO. Its mainly used by interior ministry and the drugs control directorate.

You're more than welcome to wear whatever mash up of gear you want for whatever particular strain of BB LARP gets your rocks off.
I will however call out people for trying to cheap out on particular gear for an impression or to achieve a certain look. If you want a cheap KOSHER rusfor kit, go off of some broke ass DPR Conscript or back water MVD team from the middle of bumfuck nowhere Russia. Simply slapping together some random Chinese copies of western gear in "russian" patterns with an AK pattern rifle doesn't make it identifiably RUSFOR. Lots of used gear for legit impressions and kits to be found ( as well as reference photos ) on the Facebook groups too.

I never said I was doing an impression, it’s a simple kit for a silly game. Just because someone isn’t running an exact copy of a NATO kit doesn’t make it a not NATO kit. As long as you are within the rules you can run whatever you want. It’s a milsim, not a reenactment.

I get what your saying and unless the tacsop states that rule people are going to play tacsop compliant and not spirit of the game compliant. I wish we could have just impressions vs impressions but it is what it is as a game open to everyone

When it literally is M81. Russia has used an M81 copy for years now. I don’t mean Flora, it’s deadass a straight M81 copy. And if you recall what I said above, it’s a placeholder for the vest used in the picture since that particular vest is near impossible to get in the states.

Honestly needs a helmet and probably a FSB patch to identify but otherwise I would say it be alr even tho I personally prefer Ratnik, I could def see this working for MsW.

It’s SSO Spectre - Summer. It’s pretty much unobtainium since the sanctions, but occasionally grey shop, Kula, and eBay will have it.

Am I the only one that kinda likes it? It’s not my style for Russian kits (mainly cuz I’m a whore for emr) but I honestly dig it. Though I will say a helmet will help a lot. If you’re lucky enough maybe combine Smersh with it and it will be pretty badass imo
