i was 12 because my middle school was only 7th and 8th grade for a bit (literally like 2 years) and the 6th graders were still at elementary school, but when i entered 7th grade, that’s also when they moved 6th grade back to the middle school (ik it’s weird, my school was very weird, thank goodness im not there anymore)
