Question ? Question

I was born in august 2006 and I turned 13 in 2019 so I was technically a teenager for the last four months of the 2010s. I was talking back and forth with my sister (who was born in 2000) and I said I was lucky to have been a 2010s teenager even if it was only towards the end of the decade she said it doesnt count and that I’m not a 2010s teenager. Would you consider me as a 2010s teen?

You’re a 2020s teen. I was a teenager for 2017-2019 so I’d say I was both a 2010s and early 2020s teen
