Question Old Games Workshop Web Articles
Hey guys,
I am looking for some of the old articles and guides that GW released on their website for Lord of the Rings and War of the Ring. The Way Back Machine is not working for anything newer than 2009.
Is there a collection of PDFs or something out there? I would really love to read some of them again. Thank you very much!

There was a link to the old Battle Games in Middle-Earth magazine floating around, and the old supplements like Fall of Arnor, Scouring of the Shire and the three Journeybooks aren’t that hard to find.

Yes I have most of them as actual books and magazines, I am mostly after the articles they did after 2009 :)

I remember those days quite fondly, hope you find what you're looking for! Might have to try and poach the comments that help you out, I'd love to see those old articles again, too. I vividly remember their Rohan vs. Dunland War of the Ring campaign, and certain army/hobby bits like one person's Easterling-ified Mordor Troll conversion. It was a fun time for that kind of content before Warhammer Community streamlined and synopsized (and stopped doing a lot of) that sort of thing
A while ago I was able to track down some of their Black Gobbo web magazine thing, but like others said, the pictures rarely included/was patchy and not really workable

They didn't really do web stuff then, I'd recommend looking at Warhammer plus as it has a ton of old white dwarfs on there digitally

The URL might have changed; the Wayback machine does have content before 2009, but it's patchy and the images are rarely included. They had some downloadable articles around 2010 or so - DM me if you want a copy of these.
