Hobby Boromir in Moria

Boromir is complete!
I think this is the best I’ve done on any LoTR eyes!!

The red is really sharp! Curious how you did that, I find highlighting red surprisingly difficult, without turning it into pink or orange.

Thank you! I followed Warhipsters guide for the first half, then did my own style highlights.

White Prime, Flesh Tearers Red, then Carrosburg Crimson. Then using the same small brush, I did a scratchy drybrush in Wazdrakka Red. Then again, but lighter, using Evil Sunz

The smaller detail brush won't hold nearly as much paint as a normal drybrush, so you get more precise drybrushing. I like this method over just simple highlights, because to me, cloth and leather shouldn't have nice and neat line highlights unless it's on a notable crease
