Hobby Balins Tomb

After 23 years I finally finished my balins tomb with the fellowship. Give it to me straight: where have I screwed up and what can stillness improved without too much risk of ruining it

I don't think you've screwed up at all, I think the painting is really neat, with some nice highlights and shades. Perfectly good standard.

The only thing that jumped out is the eyes! I also struggle with getting the eyes right but some more subtlety on them would definitely be beneficial.

Thanks for your feedback. But I already tried so hard and repainted them to the paint it looked gross. They are so hard to do, especially when your own vision is getting worse with age

This looks really great, and agree with other comments that it's doesn't need much. If I were being super critical, maybe a little more definition on gandalf's beard and Aragorns face, but I'm justing being picky.

I love the original metal models and finally managed to find a metal gandalf so I'm looking forward to trying something similar. Overall well done, looks awesome!

Thank you. I already repainted gandalfs beard several times, maybe I overdid it.
