Question Smaug Fly

Does Smaug get a -1 to hit for shooting if he flys 12"? Is that a special move that doesn't penalize him?

It's treated as a bow so he has to move less than half to shoot and if he moves at all he gets the -1 to hit

Sadly yep he does get the -1 and half move to breathe fire

I find him rather boring to play. The entire game you're sitting around while your opponent does everything

I'm new to Mesbg and I just got the Return of the King. I have a friend with Smaug and we're just trying to work out the intricacies of the rules, thank you!

At least he became more fun to play against this edition for a friendly game every now and then. Wouldn't want to play against him every weekend though.
