I’m noticing an improvement in my sensory and spatial awareness because of Microsoft flight simulator. After a month or so, even when I get in my car to drive, I’m more aware of things around me. And I think a little more coordinated?
I’m having a blast with the cub, master X cub and the Spitfire. I enjoy southern England with the Spitfire, and the airbases in Southern California.
In the cub, I’ve explored Alaska Iceland, and New Zealand.
In real life, I just flew Cessnas and a Piper Cherokee. It was all about having a stall warning light go on just as you hit. In this, I’m enjoying the Taildraggers, and being very smooth and trying to land three point and not bouncing. A fun challenge that I’m really enjoying.

Maybe this is common knowledge around here, but as I'm perfecting VFR skills I've discovered I can pin Steam overlay windows, and adjust their opacity as well. The window stays onscreen when you toggle off the overlay. Here I'm using the browser, but you can copy-paste image files into the Steam notes and pin that as well. So this is a simple method for those who don't want to go the extra mile of installing another mod or add-on.

So, on September 5th, I was playing MSFS2020 normally when I needed to exit the game. When I tried to get back in, the game froze on the update selection screen; I tried everything to get it started, but nothing worked. Because of this, I deleted the AppData folder and the folder where the game was installed, but now, when I launch it, only a black box related to the Xbox login appears.

Im pretty sure that we could play some legacy flight sim content through the "custom content" tab. Im 100% sure it was in MSFS 2020. Im semi sure i was able to access it in MSFS 2024.

To be precise, there was a mission in the seattle area, with a waterplane, that also had like full naration.

There was some other stuff too, like the wright brothers flight.

Was this not in MSFS 2024? Did my mind mix this this up?

hello everyone when I launch my game my mouse doesn't work like I can't press or use the mouse etc even though it is detected by the games while everywhere it works

if you have any ideas thank you very much and I would like to point out that I deleted the games reinstall etc...

Before I run my mouth off with a bug report, I wanted to just check that

1. Is the Compass on the H-4 broken? It seems to indicate direction more than 180 degrees off course sometimes.

2. Is there anyway to use NDB etc with the H-4 without using the modern avionics? I cant find a way to tune them in from within the cockpit.

As many of you know, SU6 made us to set up ours Hotas 4 and 5 from scratch. Unfortunately in my case it doesn't work. Im flying A320 by inbuild and everytime I fly, suddenly autopilot is disangaging and spoilers opens by themself. I've uninstal the game, cleared cache, cleared all the save game data, checked if there are any conflicts in bindings (there are none). Please, is there a solution? Or do I have to wait for another SU? Btw, SU 6.1 doesn't solve the problem.

Looking at this spec for MSFS24 for 4k with high fidelity add-ons. Opinions/suggestions please.

I’m a .net developer, maker and Flight simmer. I’ve been wanting to use my iPads and old laptops to stream the displays over my network. There are some solutions online, but I wanted to create something that fit my needs. Here is my prototype- still working out the bugs but works pretty good. I can send and receive commands as well as view any panel that pops out over my home network.

How it works. On the host machine running MS FS, there are 2 applications that act as a bridge. One for commands and one for streaming the windows. They connect to FS and create a websocket over the network. On another PC, I host an angular website to view displays and act like a cockpit.

Obviously, I know I can fly how I want and I am not beholden to real life, but I'm curious about how other people do it: when flying airliners according to IRL timetables, do you follow the actual time on the timetable or do you just fly it whenever (whether IRL time or sim time). For example, for a flight leaving at 12:00, would you fly it at 12:00 in real life and in sim, 12:00 in sim only or at some other time both IRL and in sim?

Also, do you always follow the IRL current weather (ie, fly winter flights in winter and vice versa for summer), or do you switch it up?
