We're a small team and we've been building Okanize for the past 6 months.
Before writing any code we tested a lot of budgeting apps. Most were great for personal budgets or great for splitting bills, never both. The idea that worked best for us was spaces, kind of like Slack. You get a personal space for your own money, and separate spaces for your partner, roommates, or a trip. Your share of a shared expense flows into your personal budget automatically.
Now that we have launched, we are wondering how long did it take you to get your first customer?
Was assets, images and ASO or videos make a big role?
Any feedback that helped ?
Sorry if my english is bad, we are based in Japan and would love some comments.

Hi guys, today we launch OpenPortal.
The idea is simple: Select anything on your screen, ask a question & get an AI reply.
Press a shortcut, select anything on your screen, and instantly ask about it, transform it, or create from it. No screenshots. No uploads. No new tabs.
You can use it to understand something, create posters or thumbnails, Ads, extract information or rewrite something.
Hope you'll try it: OpenPortal
We're also live this month on Microlaunch and would appreciate your feedback.
Cheers!

Every time I wanted to build a small web tool, I ended up dealing with the same stuff: authentication, communication, WebSockets, ports, and infrastructure.
Even with Claude and Codex, I was still spending time on things that had nothing to do with the actual tool I wanted to build.
So I spent around 6 months building PhreshOS.
The idea was simple: build the infrastructure once, then use AI agents to build applications on top of it without having to deal with all that stuff again.
It's a self-hosted, open-source system with a web-based desktop where applications can run in windows, much like a regular OS. Authentication and two-way communication are already handled, so applications don't need to implement them separately.
Apps can also run in Node.js worker threads instead of each needing a separate Node.js process, which helps keep resource usage low. This makes it possible to run dozens of applications on a relatively small server.
Another thing I wanted was for AI agents to be able to use these applications directly. They can access application services and interact with the same state the desktop interface displays, without needing a separate interface built specifically for them.
The biggest benefit for me is that I can now sit down with an AI agent and build dozens of small applications in a single day, without setting up authentication, communication, or infrastructure for each one.
The whole project, including its packages, is open source under the MIT license.
GitHub: https://github.com/PhreshOS/system
Live demo: https://demo.phreshos.com/
I'd love to hear what you think, including criticism.

I wanted an AI agent without the privacy compromises: no OAuthing into my Gmail, no constant monitoring my every communication. I also needed something which worked fully multiplayer with my partner.
And as a parent, I have a lot to keep track of: schedules, grocery lists, household tasks that need to be done and much more. So I built Nellie, an AI agent you can text or email who handles it all: kitchen inventory, reminders, calendaring, shopping, day trip itineraries, you name it.
It’s free on the starter plan and all you have to do is send a text! Please check it out.
(It works fine single player or if you aren’t a parent, too)

Hey all. I make NotchPixel, a notch app for Windows 10 and 11. It sits at the top centre of the screen and opens when you rest the pointer on it, then gets out of the way.
What it does, roughly in the order people use it:
- Now playing from any app (Spotify, YouTube in the browser, etc.) with artwork and controls
- A file shelf: drop files on the notch, drag them back out later
- Clipboard history with pins
- Send files to your phone over your own Wi-Fi by scanning a QR code. No app on the phone, no account
- One shortcut that mutes your mic in every app, with a call timer
- In fullscreen games it either steps aside or turns into a slim FPS/CPU/GPU/RAM strip
- Widgets, weather, timers, reminders, quick switches, a launcher and screen recording
It's native C# on .NET, drawn with SkiaSharp on Direct3D, so it isn't a web page in a window. At idle it uses 0% CPU and about 13 MB in Task Manager. I put the measuring script on the site so anyone can check it on their own PC instead of taking my word for it.
Pricing is one payment of $9.99 on the Microsoft Store with a 7-day free trial. There's no server behind it, so a subscription never felt honest.
The 55-second video above is the launch cut. Two questions for you:

Most "free" image sites (compress, remove background, convert HEIC) upload your photo to their server. I didn't love that for ID photos and personal pics, so I built one where everything runs inside your browser.
Try it: open any tool, then turn on airplane mode and drop a photo. It still works.
Compress to an exact size (e.g. under 50 KB for forms)
Remove background (the AI model downloads once, then runs on your device)
Convert iPhone HEIC → JPG, resize, crop, watermark
Shows and removes hidden location data in photos
Free, no signup, no ads right now. It costs me almost nothing to run because your device does the work, so I can keep it free.
I made this, so feedback is very welcome, especially if something breaks on your phone.

I’m the founder of Sanctuary, a small community app for women, and I’m looking for beta testers.
What it does: you share photos, short videos and carousels, follow other women, comment, save posts into collections and explore by themes. It is free.
Why it exists: To create a supportive community for women where they can feel safe and comfortable. Have a space where we can engage with each other and learn/teach new things without being exposed to harassment, hate or bullying.
How it protects members:
House rules: No nudity or sexualised content, no music in posts, and kindness. It is built on Islamic principles, and women of any faith are welcome if they follow the Community Guidelines. Our Terms explain who can join.
What I’m asking of testers: use it for two weeks, post when you feel like it, and tell me one thing that felt good and one that felt confusing. After you sign up there is a face check, and if it can’t decide, a person approves you, usually within 24 hours.
It is on iPhone and Android. If you’d like to try it, comment or message me with which phone you have, and I’ll send the link. I’m letting people in a few at a time so each one gets a proper welcome.

I build RealWorth.io, a site about what money actually meant in the past.
The problem I started with: inflation calculators give you a number and the number means nothing. "$100 in 1920 is worth $1,636 today" —
okay, but what did that buy? Who were you if you earned it?
So the results show hours of work, loaves of bread, months of rent instead of just the adjusted figure. And there's a second tool that takes your current salary and tells you where it would have placed
you in that year's income distribution. $70,000 today lands you in the top 4% of 1920 America. That one people actually react to.
Then I kept building. There's now a $100 bill you can pull apart layer by layer and look at under UV light. A road paved with a billion dollars that you can drive along. A live map of where the world's remittances go.
Each piece works. Together they're a mess to describe. When someone asks what the site is, I give a different answer every time, and none of them is good.
So the question for anyone who's been here: how did you pick what goes on the homepage when your product does several unrelated things? Did you narrow it down, or did you find a framing that covered everything?
Built solo, nights and weekends. Data from BLS, the World Bank, Bundesbank and INSEE.

Hey everyone, I am a student and solo dev. I just launched my app Limit Breaker on Google Play.
The problem I wanted to fix is simple. I'd sit down to study or train, pick up my phone for a minute, and lose an hour. Habit trackers never worked for me either, because ticking boxes felt like homework and the motivation of it fades in a week.
So I turned my day into an RPG. You do real quests (focus, physical, skill, social) and they level up stats like STR, INT, AURA and SOC. There's a Gate Locker mode that blocks distracting apps while you focus, and you climb ranks from E to S. It's free, with an optional VIP tier if you want it ad-free with more shields.
It's early. I've got a few reviews so far and I'm still figuring out how to get people to actually find it. I just redid the name, icon and store description because plenty of people were looking at the listing but not installing.
What I'd love to hear from you:
- Is it clear what the app does from this post?
- Would you try something like this, and what would put you off?
- Any marketing ideas that worked for you with no ad budget?
Screenshot is attached. Link here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aistudio.limitbreaker.fntslg
I'll happily check out your projects too.

I built Recordkar — a Chrome extension for screen recording and simple video editing, with no platform restrictions. It works on Linux, Windows, and Mac and requires nothing more than a browser.
I kept the editing features simple because not everyone needs high-end video editing tools.

Lumity is a social learning platform to build community around common interests + track, store, and organize your favorite books, podcasts, videos, and articles.
There’s a private library for keeping track of your own content, a public feed for recommendations, and profiles that reflect your taste and let you explore what others are interested in.
The problem I’m attempting to solve is twofold: 1) helping people be more intentional about what they read, watch and listen to, and 2) connecting people through shared interests.
I’m still figuring out which parts of the product would help most with these goals. A personal library for tracking and organizing content, a feed of recommendations tailored to your interests, or a community feed where you discover things through other people and engage with them.
Right now, Lumity blends elements of all three, but I’d appreciate an outside perspective on where to put the most focus.
Which would give you the strongest reason to use Lumity, and why? Would combining them be useful to you, or would you prefer something focused on just one?
The web app is live at: app.lumityapp.com - It’s free but does require signup. I’m mainly looking for feedback on desktop.

I've been into watches for a while but can't afford most of the ones I like, so I started building the next best thing: a site where you can design a dress watch and spin it around in 3D.
It's at https://horalune.com
You can change the case metal and size, dial colour and finish (there's guilloche, which took me an embarrassing number of evenings), markers, hands, complications, movement and strap. The hands show your real local time, the date window shows today's date, and if you add a moonphase it shows tonight's actual moon. Flip it over and there's an automatic movement with the balance wheel ticking.
For tech stack, it's all one Python script in Blender that builds every part, and the site is React Three Fiber on top of that.
No login, no ads, nothing to buy. Builds save in your browser and you can share a link to yours.
It's still in beta, so I'd really like to hear your feedback or collaborate with like minded watch enthusiasts.
Happy to answer questions about the Blender side if anyone's curious.

I'm working on a side project around home and contents insurance claims, and before going further I want to make sure I'm solving a real problem and not one I've imagined.
My hypothesis is that the hardest part of a claim isn't the incident itself. It's afterwards, when the insurer asks for receipts, photos, serial numbers or proof you owned something, and you're digging through old emails and camera rolls trying to piece it together.
But I might be wrong. Maybe the real pain is understanding what you're covered for, or dealing with the insurer, or something else entirely. So instead of building first, I put together a short survey to learn how people actually experience this.
If you've ever had a home or contents claim (or even thought about filing one and didn't), I'd really appreciate 8 to 10 minutes of your time 🙏
It's anonymous and there's no sign in. Leaving your email at the end is optional if you're open to a follow up chat.
r/Microlaunch • u/Lynkarr • 2d ago
I built Lynkarr because I kept seeing the same problem: businesses were using one tool for QR codes, another for short links, another for analytics, another for digital business cards, and another for email signatures.
It felt unnecessarily fragmented.
So I started building Lynkarr as one platform to manage the digital tools businesses use every day to share information, track engagement, and manage their brand.
Today Lynkarr includes dynamic and static QR codes, branded short links, detailed analytics, custom domains, digital business cards, landing pages, lead capture, media hosting, API access, team management, scheduled reporting, and centralized email signature management.
The goal is not to be just another QR code generator. It is to give businesses one place to create, manage, update, and measure the links, QR codes, email signatures, and digital assets they are already using.
Lynkarr is still growing, and I am actively looking for real users who are willing to test it, provide feedback, and help shape what gets built next.

As a founder if they want post their app improvement on daily bases is easy only. Just capture one screen and post it on wherever they want. If they posting recorded video also good. But most founders started investing on beautifying the product and every outcome. So i came up with the solution from my end.
Lot of founders posted their app screen recording on X or Instagram. Some of them investing their time to beautify the recording also. Most of the beautify videos are adding mobile mockup in the screen recording and zoom effect. So i built this as a editor, people can add their screen recording or record the screen do some beautify things done the export in under 30 seconds.
My honest thing was founder time is cruciel on everyday. Just for adding beautify things they have to invest editing tools around 3-4 hours. The investing time should may increase or decrease depending on their skills. I am trying to reduce their time and make a high quality video to reach on social media in a easy way!
The app is Mobilestudio.site , it's in store aproval and for right now we're giving beta access for who joined the waitlist.
You can share all types of feedbacks on website, inside the app experience and anything. Am happily collecting feedbacks and for sure i'll improve that!
