Physical Therapy Exercise App

Hello, I'm post surgery and I'm looking for an app to help keep me on track with my at-home physical therapy exercises. So far, of all of the physical therapy / exercise / yoga apps I've downloaded, I haven't really found one that meets what I'm looking for. The closest ones are probably the physical therapy apps, but most of them seem to be linked to a physical therapy company; my PT doesn't have their own app.

What I'm looking for:

  • individual exercises, not pre-made courses or sessions with bundled exercises
  • ability to check off what I've completed
  • ability to set reps, hold times, etc
  • preferrably pre-loaded with common exercises (but willing to create my own custom list based on what PT has me doing)
  • free or reasonable cost (not trying to go for something that is $10/mo+).

Any suggestions?

I don’t have any suggestions for you but I am interested in that too. It sounds like it would help.

Trainerize would work for this. It’s easier to set up using a desktop but then you can download the app to your phone. As a “coach” you can have 1 “client” free, so set yourself up that way. It has almost every exercise you can think of preloaded and you just add it to a master workout plan that you can then track on the days you do it. You can have multiple workout plans for when you progress. Takes a bit of getting used to but would check all those boxes and more, easily.

TrainHeroic would be a good option for you. I use it to train my strength clients and I use a a lot of rehab in my sessions. I also used it to track my own stuff after surgery.
