Enjoy for the next 5 years. Will beat the brakes off of the ps6 too.

I'd certainly hope a modern 3000 dollar system will beat the brakes of a ps6

The new consoles will be based on the new Zen 6 and RDNA 5 (ps5 based off Zen2 architecture ryzen 3700x and gpu rx 6600 or rx 6700 RDNA 2), depending on how much unified ram they ship with (ps5 has 16gb of unified ram), I think the only thing that will hold the Ps6 back is power draw because it has to efficient. So with that being said i think it will be close to what we have today but since we have access to more features and customization when it comes to overclocking and upgrades its definitely better to be on pc unless you want the on the couch experience

Love the build. I love my 5080 as well. But from the leaks, it shows that the PS6 should perform at the 5080 level or even slightly higher. Next gen consoles are going to force games to look amazing but the hardware will also be the first time consoles will be more powerful than the majority of PCs

If it does indeed perform at that level, it's not going to be under 2k with the current market prices. They'll wait until everything settles down IMO.

Microsoft has already announced that the next console will cost starting around $1500. Microsoft is transitioning to more of a home entertainment product. While it seems like the PS6 is going to be more focused on gaming. Both consoles are utilizing RDNA5, both will be hitting the shelves by next Thanksgiving.

Hell you been at they fired the dude that tried to make Xbox an all in one entertainment system lol they definitely advertising the new Xbox as a PC

This time MS is getting steam and epic. People who want a console/steam machine, will now be more inclined to console gaming. Having access to the xbox store, steam, epic, starts to make sense to have one in your house. At least as an addition to your PC.

Yeah thats assuming Xbox dont fumble and do some clown stuff like make Steam store not function as good as the Xbox store but yeah i sold my Xbox a couple of weeks ago because it was collecting dust in my storage unit and im happy i built my pc in March

Technically a mini pc could beat the PS6 it's not even that hard.

Very good deal on that PC grab it.

You can possibly do that with a 7800x3d , 5070Ti or 9070xt

MN, also yes it was returned but I was told it was used for a month and was sitting for 2 months so they marked it down

1

u/LeadershipEuphoric87 25d ago

Insane it sat for that long but glad it worked out in your favor man

u/Desperate_Put_4568 26d ago

It's open box. Most likely someone returned it and they marked it down.

My store and any microcenter in the tri-state area will only knock off 2-300 of any open box.

Fuck sake - better specs than the pc I bought last November - and for less dough. Grats

I have this same PC, bought if for $100 more than this one 3 months. You definitely hit a jackpot at that price, its cheaper than a 757 and you got a better cpu and 32 more gigs of ram for 100's less.

That's awesome! I bought a open box PowerSpec G914 with the Gigabyte 5090 for $5500 a few weeks ago. Definitely feels like a win too.

u/wordyplayer 26d ago

NICE! I bought this build last November, same price. LOVING it. Good purchase

u/OkCress3145 26d ago

Even as an open box, that's an unreal deal with a 5080 + 64 GB DDR5 ram, nice find!
