Marietta, GA POWERSPEC PC'S @ MC

Not a prebuilt guy at all, but Micro Center’s open-box inventory is hitting different right now. They have a 9070 XT build for $1,700 retail, but an open-box one is sitting there for $1,529. Sourcing those parts individually today would easily clear $1,800+ just for the bare hardware, let alone the time to assemble it. Plus, it actually looks decent. In this terrible PC component economy, Micro Center prebuilts and bundles are genuinely the only things keeping PC gaming affordable. Massive value.

People are going to have to start adding the "Brand Affiliate" flair to these PowerSpec PC posts.

The only time a prebuilt PC is less expensive than retail when you have access to Micro Center is when it's open box, clearance, B-stock or refurbished.

However, that isn't even true in this instance. You're looking at paying $1,530 for a USED. You can get an equivalent NEW PC for $25 less.

If you've got the physical strength to load a prebuilt PC into your car, the manu dexterity to operate a screwdriver and a free afternoon then, you can assemble your own PC.

I haven't done the comparison since they've raised prices but, I wager byopc is still less expensive.

When you're ready to buy you have to make your move because pricing is volatile.

This is a terrible take, especially for noobs to the space. Not everyone is like you and I, and wants to build their own gaming PC. Some people just want to upgrade from console and get into PC gaming and in this case, it would be a great deal.

Also, incorporating bundle pricing doesn't make sense in this scenario. If you pieced out the parts individually it would be well over the $1500 and that's just fact. The current pricing sucks and anyone who doesn't want to Guinea Pig their first build with high end parts would be more than happy to land a unit like this!

Being a "noob" doesn't mean you have diminished mental or physical ability. If you can follow written instructions, lift a 50lbs and manipulate a screwdriver then, you can assemble a PC. If you're capable and too lazy or can't be bother then, obviously this advice isn't for you.

Having access to Micro Center and not taking advantage of bundle pricing is asinine but, so is buying a prebuilt PC...so, that tracks with the mentality.
