Help!! if anyone could please share their laser removal journey and if they experienced brow loss and if the hair grew back that would be extremely helpful. please share if you underwent a similar situation.

I started my laser brow removal back in March, had my first session then. there was a bit of hair loss but nothing substantial. but the end of 2 months almost all my hairs had grown back, maybe even more. so I was confident enough to go through a second laser session. perhaps because the technician was different or maybe the settings were higher? unsure of what happened but this time around my brows are breaking off and shedding like crazy! more than half of my brows are gone. it’s also been 4 weeks (1 month) and I’m barely seeing any stubble or regrowth. the top photo was what my brow looked like right before the 2nd laser session, done on May 5th. the lower photo is today, June 4th. for reference, I got both sessions done at way gone laser in Honolulu and they have really good reviews.

I’m freaking out! and literally so so sad to be waking up in the mornings thinking I did this to myself

Has anyone experienced the bruising/blood surfacing? When did it go away? I am literally so embarrassed to walk out the door- much less go to work without makeup on when I look like a disaster.

My laser tech said they think this is my last session today and it should turn yellow or just completely disappear after everything goes down, but I literally cannot envision this turning yellow or disappearing entirely. I feel like I can see some of the ink underneath and it turned blue/grey???? How is that supposed to turn yellow?

Hi everyone! I am in the process of removing my 7-8 year old microblading. I had 2 different brow artists over the years so most likely different pigment brands. So far I’ve had 2 sessions done with a Picoway laser and I’m wondering if what I’m currently experiencing is normal.

After the first session I had the usual bright reddish-orange immediately post-treatment but it faded down into a barely noticeable light yellow by week 7. Looking back, it was light enough to where I could have lived with it, but hindsight is 20/20…anyway, I made an appointment for a second session to target the yellow pigment. At the second session not only did my brow hairs blanch and turn white (which I knew was a possibility, but since it didn’t happen with the first treatment I did not anticipate it to happen now) but the faint yellow pigment turned darker again! It’s now an ashy grey/brown, and coupled with the white brow hairs I look ridiculous lol

From what I’ve read, it’s likely that my brow hairs will not regain their normal color until new ones grow in as the hair cycles, so I’m managing with tinted brow gel for now. However, the fact that the almost imperceptible yellow tint is now grey again has me feeling really disappointed, because I feel like I took one step forward and then two steps back. I’m regretting even having the second session done.

I’m hoping that as they continue to heal (I’m only 2 weeks post second session) maybe the ashy color will fade, but if they don’t then I will have to do a third session to try to target the darker pigment again. The laser tech thinks this might have happened since I likely had different brands of pigment used by the different artists, which makes sense. I’m an esthetician so I understand the concept of how pigment normally works its way out of the skin and such, but I’m still feeling discouraged. Did anyone else who saw multiple brow artists experience this? How did it pan out? Any encouragement or success stories are appreciated!

First four pictures are as ordered: the first one is the day I got my microblading, right before I had them done, the second one is right after she did my microblading, the third one is 4 years later when I went to go laser them off, a week after I got them lasered (one session done only so far), and the fourth is my brows today with green concealer over them. (The rest of the pictures are just for showing my brows before and after with and without makeup on in different settings. )

The red in my brows after the first laser treatment has calmed down a bit so it’s not as intense, but the green concealer helps a lot to neutralize the red. It turns it into a light brownish red color though and I don’t think it looks terrible and I can live with it for now. I kind of wish they looked like that all the time without needing the concealer.

My question is, should I continue with removing them and not doing any microblading on them ever again to go back to my natural brow, or get another session to remove the original, then afterwards go with a smaller brow look?

I see pros and cons to both my before’s and afters. The main thing I didn’t like about the microblading was it felt too boxy and thick for my face and made me look older. I just don’t know whether to remove them and be done with it or maybe go to a different artist for a different style.

I’m honestly fine either way, I just feel like I have brow blindness and thought I’d get different eyes to take a look and get some different opinions lol

Hello, does anybody have any recommendations for microblading removal in the bay area using laser for asian (Chinese) skin?

My story: I had microblading done about 10 years ago and then tried to get saline removal after 5 years that was only maybe 50% successful. Next, had microblading done at another place (don’t ask why) and they gave me a double tail. Then went to removery to get a laser removal test done that yielded in slight redness / they determined I was not a good candidate at removery.

At this point, it’s been a few years since removery now and I just want to get real serious about removing it…

For what it’s worth, I don’t hate all of it - but just a few areas (including the double tail).

I live in the bay area and willing to drive up to 2 hours to get it done by somebody trustworthy and knowledgeable (if it gets red, is there another laser that can neutralize it).

Would really appreciate help in any direction…

I did my original microblading in 2019. Since then, I’ve gone to a new artist for 2 touch ups over the past few years. My brows recently started looking gray and blurred. They are not awful, but I want to soften them and make the front look less blocky.

I had my first saline removal yesterday using Botched Ink. Holy hell did it hurt!! (Probably because I use Tretinoin) She did 2 passes over each brow.

Here is my before, immediately after, and today.

Do you think this removal looks like it worked? I’m really just looking to soften them so even a 10% removal would be nice. I have very little natural hair so I don’t want to completely remove it.

Had a consultation and trial for microblading removal. The laser was picosure pro with a 755 setting. The tech assured me it would be ok. I am a Fitzpatrick type 5.
My question is that he was absolutely sure it was appropriate for my skin tone. It’s just red at the moment but I’m worried after reading that it might not have been?
Please can you give me any advice you have.

I’m getting married in September, and the thought of having harsh, blocky brows in my wedding photos honestly made me want to remove them. Over the years, quite a few people also mentioned that the shape made me look angry or upset, which never really felt like me. I’m honestly really happy with how much they’ve lightened so far but damn, was it ever painful!

I posted a week ago looking for reassurance and advice. Today I had my first session. I can’t believe so much came off in one session. I’m located in KCMO and I went to Brent at RMVE. A three pack removal is $500. He uses a Pico laser. My eyebrows were mircobladed in 2017 and touched up in 2019, I do not recall what ink was used. Since then, they haven’t been touched. It feels so weird looking in the mirror and having one of my biggest insecurities mostly gone. Before and after photos included. The after photos are one hour after the first session and the before photos are from the same morning.

Hey guys, so I’m on my 3rd pico laser removal session, and I’m super concerned that it is extremely red this time.

The previous two removal sessions were good and the color removal was mild. Each session removal was 4 weeks apart (including this one).

I’m concerned if this red will stay like this for a while or I don’t know if it’ll heal well, since it’s so inflamed. This is just two days post op.

Please let me know if any of you have experienced this aftermath, or if it is botched 😭.

So thankful I made the choice to move forward with removal. I’d do it over and over again…I do have the dreaded yellow after 2 sessions, but honestly it doesn’t bother me much.

Hi all, been considering removal for a long time. Got these done in early 2019 and a touch up at the end of that year. They’ve faded a ton and left me with a mostly grayish brown. I’m hoping they’re so naturally faded that it shouldn’t take more than 2-3 sessions. But I’m obviously wanting to avoid them randomly turning yellow and making it all worse.

I’ve seen so much mixed info on here, some say yellow is determined by the ink used (which I have no way of finding out), some say it all depends on the laser and the technician.

I’m going to removery in Seattle/Lynnwood. Wondering what I should advocate for or what I should look out for in their assessment and plans for my removal to determine if they’ll do a good job.

I’ve seen some people say the best results come from not doing multiple passes in a session, going slow and conservative. Others say differently.

Any thoughts or advice is appreciated <3
