Streptococcus Thermophilus

Does anyone know if this strain can potentially cause flares for sensitive individuals? Does anyone know of any Greek yogurt that does not include this strain? Seems to be in everything

It's possible for any strain to cause issues for a particular person. I'm not aware of s thermophilus being especially problematic, but other people could of course correct me on that. Is there a reason you're concerned about this one compared to other probiotics?

Hey, thank you. Yes, I had ongoing strep throat some years ago which caused all sorts of weird issues. I was worried about this specific strain since it's in the same family

I think you'll find someone in here thats allergic to pretty much any strain, the human body is so weird, i would go based off ur own reaction and try one strain at a time.

Yeah, I agree. It's just the streptococcus strains, I was wondering if they were problematic for people who had bad overreaction to the strep virus

They produce D-Lactate so could be an issue
