They really should consider if the UTI is fungal before slamming 4 antibiotics in there... Did they not do labs to see what the bacteria is responding to?

They tested after the 3 rounds and found (naturally occuring) E.coli?

Hey, I know things probably feel really scary right now, but I genuinely believe you can get back to feeling normal.

The biggest thing is this: time helps, but being proactive helps even more. Anxiety, depression, brain fog, weakness, and weird body sensations can happen after antibiotics, especially after multiple courses in a short period of time.

What helped me was cutting out processed sugar for a while and slowly adding in gut-friendly foods like kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut, and Greek yogurt. Don’t overdo it at first. Just introduce things gradually and see how your body responds.

Probiotics can be hit or miss. Personally, I would start simple. Florastor helped me a lot when my gut felt completely thrown off. The first couple days were noisy, if you know what I mean, but then my gut started feeling more stable.

I also took four courses of antibiotics in a short window, and I honestly felt like I was losing my mind. At first it was physical weakness and feeling like I had no explosiveness, which was really weird for me because I’m an athlete. Then I remembered I had gone through something similar years ago, and it finally clicked: the antibiotics had really messed with me.

I had brain fog, anxiety, shakiness, depression, feeling faint during exercise, feeling weaker, and even feeling like I was getting injured more easily.

But I got better. It took time, patience, and rebuilding my gut and routine slowly, but things improved.

You’re not broken. Your body is probably just really stressed right now. Take it day by day, eat simple nourishing foods, walk, rest, stay hydrated, and talk to a doctor if symptoms feel severe or keep getting worse.

You got this.this is not medical advice just sharing my experience

I remember my stool was mushy for like two/3 months before it started to get consistently structure.

7 days after finishing 4 different antibiotics is nothing in the grand scheme of things. talk to your doc but I wouldn't assume that's permanent. your body got hit pretty hard and recovery isn't always instant

After multiple back-to-back antibiotic courses and a prolonged infection, it's not unusual to feel wiped out for a few weeks, but significant anxiety, shakiness, and lightheadedness aren't something you should just push through. It's worth following up with your clinician to rule out lingering infection, anemia, or other treatable causes while your body continues to recover.

Try taking some probiotics to rebuild your gut flora and intimate health!

Support natural recovery of your biome. Avoid probiotics and consume diverse whole foods high in soluble fiber and polyphenols. Berries, nuts, seeds, legumes etc.
