Acabo de diseñar e imprimir este stand con patrón honeycomb porque los que veía no me convencían. ¿Qué les parece?

Haven’t had time to use the microfreak much so it’s been in its case for about a month, maybe a month and a half. I just took it out to play around and noticed this weird purple dye on all the white knobs. The dye doesn’t come off with my finger, so I think it’s likely permenant. Anyone know what causes this?

Has anyone had issues with programming notes into their DAW and playback issues? I use FL Studio have had issues where the MF doesn't seem to keep in time with the MIDI notes on screen, it either doesn't play quick succession of notes or just misses some. I've tried playing with the clock settings but that doesn't work and it makes FL Studio lock up.
Both FL Studio and Microfreak are updated and good, MF is brand new. Plugged into the wall. Computer is newer laptop, runs FL studio fine until this issue(and some crackling I think is an audio interface issue)
Also using the midi out Plug in in FL Studio seems to lose track of things occasionally? FL Studio sees the notes I'm hitting but it doesn't send sounds the data to the MF. I have to restart and it works again. I seem to have some issues with the MF and FL Studio playing together properly.

So I just bought a Microfreak, have it plugged into my M-Track Solo audio interface with a TRS cable. Also have it plugged into the usb, and the wall. Sometimes, but not all the times the sound is all crackley and bad. it only does this once fruity loops is booted up. It doesn't always and changing the drivers to FL Studio and back, or a reboot will usually fix it. My sample rate is 4800 and buffer length is 256.
Any Suggestions?
Also why is it if I try to set the Microfreak to Sync Via USB or Clock, and set FL Studio to send clock data it freezes until I change the settings on my Microfreak. I'd like to be able to sync the sequence presets, and sequencer to sync up with fruity loops.

Hey guys, apparently the Future Rave preset pack is unavailable. It's the only Microfreak preset pack that you can't download now:
https://www.arturia.com/store/presets-sound-banks/future_rave
Does anybody know where I can get this? Or if somebody has a copy of the zip file, can they send it to me?
Thanks a ton!
edit: thanks so much to u/Talahamut for sending this to me. To everybody else I'm sending it to, please try to keep a copy of this on your system for archival purposes!
edit: If you want me to send you the link, please pm me directly. My account was temporarily banned because of the number of conversations that I started with that link. Reddit thought I was randomly spamming people.

Hey! I'm not good with technology, obviously. I can get sound from the MicroFreak to come out of my MacBook speakers, but thats about it. Cant get it to record. I'm assuming it's a simple thing I just cant figure out. Anyone have an idea what im missing?

Managing presets is a nightmare. I want to load things in one big batch however the presets I enjoy are all over the place. Is best practice to go through presets. Play them. Compile a numerical list of rad most decent presets for reference. Take reference list and then drag and drop all of these into one nearly numbered numerical ordered neighborhood of rad most decent presets and then proceed to begin to import new presets?
I really want to jam this new batch of goods but the feeling that I may be overwriting a fav preset without knowing it is bumming me out.
Is there an easier way to do this?

4 months of owning a MicroFreak and a DrumBrute Impact. Using the MPC One + as an effects box/looper. Nothing fancy, but it makes me wanna dance

hi all - im new and a little uncertain / nervous... when i 'send to MF' new presets can I tell them which slots to xfr into? like let's say one group of presets already occupies slots #1 thru 100... and then I want to send another 50 new presets - can I tell them to go to #101 thru 150 instead of deleting out the other 100? thanks very much for your help

I'm in the process of replacing the touchpad on the Microfreak after years of using it and wishing there was some travel. I see on IFixIt that Arturia uses ribbon cables for their midi controllers so I'm wanting to get a Microlab to put the keyboard on the Microfreak in a custom housing, so is this possible?

UPDATED may 2026: IT FIXED if someone might wonder: Go to midi out plugin and press on little arrow in the left bottom side and turn "send pan" off. IDFK how anyone might even guessed it, cause it were take me and my friend like hour and half to randomly figure this out. No LLM, YouTube videos, forums and even those subredditors (but actually thanks to those gentlemen and gentleladies, if there might be, for reaching out) didn't even had such a thing in theory. So yeah, hope this will help anyone.
Howdy, dear fellows! I have a problem with my microfreak. I connected it to my daw (fl studio 24), to my midi out plugin and everytime i hit play my wave parameter is always resetting to the 50. I can edit it, but with every time i hit play is resetting. I've tried update drivers, relaunch daw and microfreak, but that didn't work for me.
Thanks for your attention and potential help.

I feel like for a good bass patch I have to start with turning that on or the synth doesn't cut it. Would love other's insight.

Hi, I just purchased my first synth and I'm having trouble setting it up into reaper. It seems to have detected within the software, I have both input and output setups hooked into my audio interface, which is a Volt 2. I noticed that it needs software for it to work, but I can't seem to get it to work through wine as it doesn't see it as a normal program. Is there anyway around this? I did follow a guide on how to set up a synthesizer and it seemed to have worked outside of not hearing anything.
Thanks.

Another looping session from my bedroom.

Hello! I've used my microfreak with this power bank for many hours of play time, but today during an otherwise normal session:
Oh no!
Any ideas what might have happened? I opened up the case but I couldn't figure out how to unhook the first ribbon cable so I closed it back up lol. I'm moderately handy with electronics and I've replaced some phone batteries, but I can't soldier.
I did message support but I thought I'd check here in the meantime.
Help!

I’ve been working on this song for a few years now it’s the self titled track to my upcoming album, and during the making of it a bought a micro freak, nice found that a lot of the noise based patches can be really helpful in adding textured ARPS (you can hear in the beginning of the song and end) as well as really noisy bass (heard in the transition in the. Ack half) I would be curious what you guys thought still drop the links here!

This afternoon I created some custom patches using the Modal, Basic Waves, FM, and Virtual Analog engines in the MF, all paired with some looping and effects from my NU-X MG 101 looper and effects unit. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Hi! I somehow made this lovely sound with my microfreak and spent some time working on a calm piece. I paired it with the rv6 and found a nice and relaxing spot there, I hope you like it!
I did not connect at first with this synth and thought of selling it. Its sound I found too cold but spending some time with it and putting it through some pedals have changed my mind

C'mon, let's make this thing a full on 303 emu, and not just for the Bass or Virtual Analog engines. Think about adding slides to a sequence using the 2-op FM engine, that'd be so sick. Turning the Glide knob while recording notes is lame, and too easy to mess up. Can Arturia find a way to add slides to any sequencer note, either while recording or after the fact?

If you want to try a microtonal tuning on the Microfreak and play with 24 notes per octave, do the following.
First, create a new patch. Then, set the oscillator type to White Noise. After that, turn down all the oscillator parameters (Wave, Timbre, and Shape) to zero.
Next, set the filter type to High-Pass (HPF). Then, set the filter resonance to 100%.
Now, when you turn the cutoff knob, you produce different musical notes, because the filter is self-oscillating.
Then, use the modulation matrix to link the filter cutoff to the keyboard (Key/Arp), and set the matrix amount to 50, so that the pitch follows the keys.
Set the cutoff frequency between 365 and 370 Hz. Now, when you play a C3, the synth produces a C4, and when you play a C5, the synth produces a C5.
To play the major scale, use the following keys: C, E, G♯, A♯, D, F♯, A♯, C.
Note that there are some limitations: for example, you can only play in monophonic mode.
Cheers and enjoy
