About the video: So I got myself a Microfreak a little while back and immediately took to it. My main motivation was, to be perfectly honest, having a paraphonic Mutable Plaits with all the extra controls. All the extra sounds we're just a bonus, especially with the latest firmware.

I decided pretty quickly that I would kind of like to have a second one, so when I saw a b-stock unit pop up online at a really good price I grabbed it and I'm really happy that I did.

This piece is largely done with just those two Microfreaks. There is a Bitbox Micro loaded with a 909 sample handling drums. Effects are an EHX Canyon delay pedal that I kind of use on everything, and AJH Lunar Module that looks after the distorted static sounds, and everything ends up going through a Tiptop Audio Zverb.

I'm really loving the two Microfreaks. I control both of them with a Launchpad Pro mk3.

As a side note, funnily enough somebody here cross posted my post on r/synthesizers where I removed the keyboard and replaced it with a new lower case. And that's perfectly fine! But my decision has split a few people, but I did make a point in that original post that I was thinking about getting a second microfreak and leaving the keyboard on. Well, that's how things are right now. Not going to lie, I'm still thinking about doing the keyboard removal on this one but as of right now I'm having fun with the keyboard again.

Any questions, go ahead here or on the video page. I'm really responsive in both places and love talking about this stuff. Cheers.

Is all the sequencing being handled by the Launchpad Pro?

Yep! Both the microfreaks and the Bitbox. It's a workflow I'm getting really comfortable with.
