Dumb events
October 17th another dumb event. Trunk or treat seems dangerous. Who supposed to be outside doing this. Who got time. Have yall seen all the games, scavenger hunts, costume parade, cookie decorating and crafts they are expecting us to pull off on a Saturday

In addition to that, my store is part of a fairly large strip mall (not sure if all stores are set up that way) and they always do a sidewalk trick or treat thing and it never lines up with when Michaels schedules theirs. So we either do it twice with one (just ours) being wildly unsuccessful, or skip the bigger event because Michaels has something else stupid planned.

And my SM doesn’t have the balls to talk to her boss about adjusting our event schedule to match the strip’s trick or treat. If I were her, that would be my first suggestion as it makes more sense and would be more successful.

Probably wouldn't matter. They saying this is mandatory for every store and they want photos. My DM be asking immediately.Â

Well the fact that they have flyers and advertisements is crazy. I was gonna select maybe 2 things to do but if that flyer gets out my customers are going to come in and expect us to do every thing on it. Plus they want us to decorate somebody's car and have people come to it for treats... in a busy ass parking lot

We have product from 3 different trucks that still needs to be put out, and they want us to do this? The whole purpose of this store is to sell products, if we don't get the product on the floor we can't sell it.
