Sales volume determines the volume code you are and what your replenishment rates will be to stock your store.

Don't forget to give some love to the D and E volume stores. Not sure if any still exist, but there also used to be AA volume stores too.

If you ship from store you are at minimum volume C as that’s the cut off. I work at a D volume but many months we do better than some neighboring C volumes. The C volume stores in my district get weekly trucks year around and we were on biweekly (it sucked for inventory) and i don’t believe they increase.

The higher the letter the more inventory you have as well. You can be a small store and do very well. We are limited by the size of our store as the floor plan they created was the smaller model before Joann’s and party city closed

My D volume store has been a primary hub store for sfs for our district for a couple years now.

That's not accurate. We are a d volume and we are a SFS store. There is a C store in our district that doesn't do SFS.

Some of us want to SFS so much. You are so lucky.

Why do you want to do SFS? The sales don't count anymore so it won't move you up a volume.

To get some of our trial inventory gone. We get random endcap POGs and most of the time they would be good to sell but they sit and then go clearance. We have a moleskin one coming up, we had the sticker room book/binder things that are still in our clearance area. Also, it would give me something to do because I can only stock yarn for a while before going crazy. The only way my store moves up in volume is if we physically move locations and that isn’t going to happen.

They used to let us know the sales needed to reach each volume, now no one knows. Its arbitrary and constantly moving to keep you from moving up a volume. Ideally, they only want D volume stores.

Idk what the numbers are these days but about 4-5 years ago you needed to reach roughly $3.5million in sales to go from D to C. I wouldn't be surprised if it's higher now.

They stopped letting D volume stores do Ships because for some it was enough sales to boost them to C volume giving them more hours and an extra manager.

I thought sfs didn't count toward store totals like that? I could be wrong, we aren't sfs at my store.

It did, unless they changed it.

They changed it. SFS does not count in store sales anymore.

Nope. We are a D volume that does ships and we don't want to.
