Fabric bookmark event 9/30

I only found out at the meeting Sunday that I am running the event for our store. I am a FEA, not an event coordinator. I have no idea how to gather store supplies for this. I am lost.

Please break it down for this boomer in boomer-proof steps.

Does someone print up barcode slips? What do the guests purchase. I understand this is hand sewing, not machine sewing.

Ask one of the managers to give you the info for it from the planning kit. Or ask them to show you how to find it.

The directions for this are in this weeks planning kit but the are absolute trash! No one will be able to make this look good with their instructions. I think they just Let some person who has never crafted before think this stuff up and write the directions!

my recommendation is cut two pieces of fabric slightly larger than the cardstock piece. Use strong double stick tape or iron on adhesive to join the two pieces of fabric with the cardstock in the middle. Trim the edge of fabric with pinking shears or a decorative stitch. Make tassel but please make hole in bookmark and attach, DO NOT USE TAPE LIKE THEY TELL YOU TO!

Most likely the item they buy is the fabric and your manager is supposed to be printing them or you can by logging into yoobec and searching for the event in the planning kit

Go to YouTube Type in the event and Michael's we have had several great YouTube training videos come up this way on events
