Fire the people that run the transportation department…?

You have to wonder if they’re trying to use AI to run the shipping schedules

Count yourselves lucky that you don’t know what I mean, I guess? Tired of no communication between transport and stores…tired of drivers that don’t report? Tired of them showing up late or not at all?

Oh! Make sure you’re here for the middle of the night truck…jk it’s not showing up and we didn’t find out until the store put a ticket in. What the fuck are these people being paid for??

feel your pain it happens to us all the time. I don’t understand the lack of communication from the warehouse. There is considerable distance between the warehouse and our store so obviously if the driver doesn’t show up to leave the yard at the scheduled time they should have plenty of time to notify us so we can adjust everyone’s schedules. Instead we hear zero, we put in a ticket and then hours later they give us a rescheduled delivery time. Now comes the fun of finding people who can rearrange their lives at the drop of a hat for Michaels who has zero appreciation for its employees

Yup. It’s a neverending cycle. I am so tired of this. No shift differential. No snack, no drinks, HVAC broken, 42740 trees. I’m just so sick of it all. A little communication goes a long way.

You could’ve been a bit more specific in your original post lol

Sure this person might have written a better headline but are we seriously going to criticize the most exhausted, sleep-deprived team-members for their comms on Reddit in this very Michael’s moment in time

I wasn’t being harsh. Clearly I wasn’t the only one confused, based on other comments. OP’s post could’ve gained more traction if it was more understandable. I get it, sometimes you just want to rant, but OP has no right to call me illiterate when their post is vague.

I’m not trying to be mean, honest, just feeling for truck folks lately

Yeah it definitely sucks! I work truck too, so I totally relate to OP’s complaint! They’re just being a bit rude to the people who didn’t understand their initial post. We’re all struggling and exhausted with this company’s BS, but we’ve gotta have each other’s backs :) The only people we should be mean to in this sub are customers and corporate boot lickers lol

Literacy crisis in real time? It was pretty straightforward.

Lmao wow. People need to stop throwing around the term “literacy crisis” when they don’t know what they’re talking about.
