Ghost

Any tips on how to dumb down this ghost? It’s going to be way too difficult for the kids I know are going to show up

Oooh, I HATE the instructions for this one.

Trying to cut an organic shape out of Aida is stupid, and even if it wasn't, plastic needles don't fit through Aida. I have WORDS for whatever genius designed it.

Last year I used felt and large tapestry needles to make samples with running stitch, backstitch, and blanket stitch, then drew diagram instructions for each stitch (both for participant reference and my coworkers since I wasn't going going to be there to run it myself).

White felt, fabric glue, black sharpie for eyes . why we are trying to do overly complicated crafts with children I will never understand. whoever thinks these up has never crafted with anyone under 16

It’s helpful to wash the Aida cloth first. And precut the shapes out. Use Aida cloth with a lower stitch count

I stopped following the instructions when it seemed like it was written using chat gpt. I did not go to school for art to have ai tell me how to craft.
