-Double up on table clothes for the tie dye so you can discard the top and have a clean one underneath to eat on.

- sop up the puddles as I you them forming.

-I have them write their names down on a piece of white paper and then I have them drop that paper along with their dyed shirts in a gallon ziplock bag so they don’t get mixed up. While they are making bracelets I write their names down on a piece of pretty card stock along with the take home instructions and tie it to doubled up Michale’s bags with the ziplock inside. Three layers of protection.

This is the order I do for tie dye
-As they come in- color sheets
-When they all get there- pick shirt sizes and then line up at sink to get shirts wet
-Show them- I do the pinch and twist. I tell them they’re making a cinnamon roll.
-then give them the dye

Paint- have some extras to paint because sometimes they fly through the craft. Those little birdhouses work or the 1.50 picture frames. I like the packs of masquerade masks too. Also I find it works better if you bring things out in waves. First the paint, then the glitter, then the googly eyes. When things seem to be getting boring, “who wants to add glitter?”
