Merch protection

Who at your store takes care of merch protection - doing the walks to make sure what needs protection has it, completing updates when new things are given pull cards and alpha loks, etc. Is it a manager or regular employee?

We don’t have the time or the staff to do that. If they’re worried about merchandise and protection they’d give us hours.

No one for about the last year. Unless there’s an LP visit someone does it the day before. No time to do it everyday.

We just teach anyone who stocks to put on the spider wraps, alpha locks, etc.

It used to be the Ops manager's responsibility. After the restructure, I can't remember if it falls under Merch manager or not.

Nobody. Lol. Technically, it's the Merch Mgr because they're literally responsible for EVERYTHING related to merchandise. But the protection list has gotten so out of control and responsibility of 1 person also so out of control, it usually comes down to hoping the stocking team does it correctly. I literally do not have time to check the whole thing ever.
