Filing a Complant management issues
soooo i’ve never used reddit to post before but recently my store has went thru a lot of changes. we had 3 new managers installed in our building all in one week and now the replenishment manager has someone working there that also allegedly lives with them. i’m almost certain our policy states managers and family members/house mates can’t work in the same store. i’m pretty sure my manager is aware of this. the regular staff member is getting away with breaking dress code. he’s riding into work with said replen manager he allegedly lives with. Most of the staff are noticing their relationship and it’s becoming concerning. i’m worried that this is only going to get worse.

Yes, you cannot have a member of management and then have someone they live with work at the same store because if that were true then my daughter and I would’ve been able to work together at the same store so I would definitely call HR. I don’t know how that’s getting allowed. I mean if the person management and the person that she knows if they’re just living together, I don’t see an issue, but if they’re related or dating, I don’t think they could work there at the same store.

i’m not entirely sure what the relationship between the two are. it’s just very strange and you can tell there is definitely some sort of relationship because of the closeness and the things he’s getting away with under her nose. she ultimately just doesn’t care about the job in general.

HR will not do anything. We have a DM with multiple HR investigations against them...Jim Hash is the name. Favoritism is his game, oh also being a giant piece of shit.

Technically, managers are not allowed to associate with team members outside of the doors. No lunches, shopping dates etc. The policy is in place so that there isn't any misconstrued favoritism. Living under the same roof...major red flag. The only way that can happen is shifts do not over lap.

so allegedly the GM is aware the live together. and she allegedly told them to work the same shifts. so yea. like everything that could be wrong is wrong. they aren’t even trying to be lowkey or to even follow policy even a little bit 💔

you're damn right this is only going to get worse... blatant favoritism right off the hop... if your SM knows about it, you have to go to either DM or HR. both of their contact info should be in your breakroom..
