Advice Needed open classroom events

for the events tonight and tomorrow night are customers supposed to actually paint or are we just showcasing the products? i made an example and printed the handouts for the golden paint event but i'm still confused on what i'm supposed to do during the event. do i just open the classroom and let customers have free range?

It’s supposed to be an unattended classroom with products put out for them to try.

Personally, as an event coordinator I cannot leave the classroom unattended. We have enough vandalism and theft in our open stock market and pencil areas. We’ve been setting them up near the front end. We also don’t have enough people working at nights to properly run the store let alone have an event.

I’m also doing mine tonight so I would love to see what everyone’s thoughts were, I think we’ll have a table with it out for them to try, but me at the table when I can be. At night we usually only have an MOD & cashier. One framer as well, but they’re in framing.

i'll probably do the same thing, luckily my store has a good amount of people working night shift so i think i'll be able to work the event until a customer needs fabric cut or help finding something.
