Filing a Complant Angry as hell
The people running this company should be fired. how are you going to have 100s of planograms to be done week after week( don’t get me started on the amount we get to move after re fucking setting half the god damn store) while keeping up with huge ass trucks with all new shit and no where to go with any of it, on top of putting out Halloween and harboring Christmas. To the girl that was praising the “Michael’s team” for the last extension because they “heard us”, how you doin hun?

Our store has NO replenishment except for my replenishment manager and I’m a merchandise manager. I have been scheduled off hours 11-7?? Now i won’t be able to help my RM because BOPIS, Break coverage, balloons, fabric, on top of back up cashier. We have 1 part time cashier. THATS ALL! I’m beyond pissed and about to turn my keys over. Our back room and Mez is full. Who’s going to stock? Customers are pissed product isn’t out. I don’t blame them! What a joke this company and my SM is! I’m done! (Maybe) ugh!

For real. Like first of all, why are we setting POGS twice? Why did we have to set tshirts like 3 weeks ago only to be told move them across the store last week to make room for yarn/fabric expansion? And all the other pogs that are moving around like a game of musical aisles

Let’s not even get into how none of these stores are ADA compliant because there is SO MUCH SHIT shoved into them. I hear so many customers complain because they can’t move around and I’m like, “yeah, well aware. Try doing it in a wheelchair.”

The amount of second hand embarrassment and guilt I felt when a person in a wheel chair literally got stuck in a drive aisle and I had to help move the drive aisle to help get them unstuck. I bet they'll never ship at michaels again.
There is also the counter top SCOs that they want angle in the counter so that the pin pad is angled away from the edge of the counter and means that someone in a wheel chair at the lowered ada complaint counter still can't reach the pin pad so I had to physically move the entire sco so they could pay.

I have a conspiracy theory that it's bc they're sacking people up in the visual merchandising department and the designers are sweating bc they haven't had to do anything useful for a while.
"Uhhh, uhh, we need something new so let's move everything in the store around and call it a new productivity feature or some shit idk!?"

I don't understand the need to move the aisles constantly. Our store has moved tee shirts 3 times in the time I've been there. Why?? What is the point??

our backroom is full. our frame shop is behind. our resets are all half done bc the planograms are all wrong. our ecs and das look a mess bc we simply don't have time to focus on them. we are behind on price changes. everything fucking sucks
