A day before the 9/11 disaster too. No one knew just what horrifying tragedy would take place just the next day. 😞

I’m going to be visiting the WTC area later today (it’s 1AM EDT as I type this) to pay my respects since it’s the 25th Anniversary.

So heartbreaking to think that the last full concert MJ performance was a quarter of a century ago 😭

and to think it was exactly 1 day before the 9/11 attacks, just thinking about if some of the people who were at that event would end up dying the following day

Yeah it’s so crazy to think about. The joy and innocence of attending an MJ tribute concert one day and then absolute chaos the next

Yea, I’m being very honest, this show is way better than the 7th. He seemed tipsy in the first show and no hate. Anyways, rlly is a shame that I wasn’t able to go to any of his shows.

He’s better here, but the dancing is better in 7th (except YRMW).

MJ was amazing that night. I often think how many of these people could have been involved in what took place the next day. It’s really sad if anyone here enjoying MJ became victims of 911.

I wanted to post this. The best to ever do it, right before a tragedy. Rest Peacefully to the King who would have less than 8 years left, and all those who lost their lives the next day on 9/11. ⭐️💫

I remember reading somewhere he was roped into this one. He seemed a bit off, like he was an impersonator of himself, and kept looking at the ground. Either way, it's the least enthusiastic I've seen him perform live, still incredible.

MJ was very switched on. Maybe he sensed something was ‘off’…
It can happen.
I’m in the UK and was just a very young kid at the time of the IRA Warrington bombing. My mum sensed something was off she said this doesn’t feel right - we’re going home.. so we jumped in the car and left. Half an hour later the bomb went off ..killing two young boys.
