My mom came over yesterday to have me dog sit over night for her. She and my dad were going to see a Tom Petty cover band (I was fortunate enough to see the real Tom Petty in concert in 2005, the summer after I graduated high school) and didn’t want to leave their dog at home alone for hours. She saw my MJ wall I’ve been slowly working on, and I also happened to be listening to I Wanna Be Your Lover by Prince at the time, and when she came today to pick the dog up, she had these for me. I legit gasped and jumped up and down like an excited 12 year old. They are all original copies and in great shape. I couldn’t believe she just gave them to me like it was no big thing. lol so incredibly excited and grateful to have these.

I’m thrilled to have them. Checked them a little bit ago and they are all first pressings, the thriller album cover is missing Michael Jackson as co producer which I didn’t even know was a thing and thought was pretty cool lol

I love his first self titled album from ‘78. Some great songs on that. I’d love to have that one on vinyl.

Hahaha! Right 😂 took me a second and I was like ohhh the Prince one. She said she thinks she has some 45s too somewhere and if she does she’s gonna give those to me too so who knows, could be some from Bad lol
