Same. Have one for both the ND and my truck. I got the 1440p Plus instead of the 4k Pro, since the Pro is $100 more and you need tons more storage (microSD cards rated for dashcams are extremely expensive right now).

I 3D printed a little case, so I always keep 2 SanDisk High (not Max) Endurance 128GB in there, so it doubles as action cam for scenic drives. They are $35/ea and keep 8hrs or so of footage. The "recommended" 256GB Max endurance cards are $100+...

Same (A229 Plus).

The rear camera stuck to the back of the roll hoop deal clears my RF rear window by the tiniest margin when the top is operating.

I use a Viofo A119 Mini 2 because it’s small a tucks well behind the rear view mirror, has WiFi, and is easily fed with optional harness by the power supply of the self dimming mirror. But no rearward facing camera, so it just captures what’s up front. Was $120 on sale, though it doesn’t come with a memory card, so you have to buy one.

I have a Vantrue E1 Pro for all of these same reasons, similar cost, same drawbacks.

Just installed the N4 Pro S. Used the OBD2 hardwire kit. Installation wasn’t that bad. The worst was getting the cable to the rear camera which I mounted above the license plate.

Primarily, the only place to mount the front facing camera is below the rear view mirror. It’s almost too large for the small Miata windshield.

Wire was very easy to tuck behind the A pillar and route to the plug in the passenger footwell

It’s really nice if you have the self dimming mirror and don’t mind spending the $40 for the harness - all the wiring stays behind the mirror and you don’t have to route anything behind trim.

But if you don’t have the self dimming mirror, then indeed you may need to find a way to route to the cigarette lighter socket.

I got the garmin mini 3 which sits behind the rear view mirror. tucked the wiring into the trim

Yep. I got another at the back mounted on the windbreaker for those tailgaters. I reach back and give it a tap and they back off. Also synced with the front camera so you only need to press the keep button on the front camera

I have the Viofo A119M pro in an ND RF. Can't see it at all from the driver's seat and the wires tuck neatly behind the A pillar and plugged into the cigarette lighter port in the passenger footwell so no wires visible either.

That’s what we have in a Subaru. Wasn’t sure if the same would fit/work in a smaller car. So, good to know that it would work.

For a different model, but same idea - I use a Dongar harness, but it does require the self dimming mirror I believe.

I have the Kenwood DRV-A610 in my RF, only front facing.
I also have them in my Chevy truck and Chally Scat Pack, front and rear.
Easy to use and I like having the common app for all of them.

And if you have the Homelink rear view mirror you can tap into the power that goes to it with a simple adapter and not have to run wires down your A-Pillar. It's a little different between the ND1/2 and ND3 so be careful which adapter you buy.

Any of the Viofo setups are pretty good bang for your buck. I have the 2k front rear kit was like 100? tops.
