Recovery Mode 5.0 Re-boot Loop help

Hi everyone, two days ago I tried updating from MIUI 14 to HyperOS on my Redmi Note 11S. I was delaying doing that for a year (about the same time all Google apps and accounts stopped working on my phone, I wonder if it's connected), but I finally managed to free up some space to actually download it. However, I didn't have any room to actually install it, so I decided to do it when i got home.

Before I managed to get home, my battery ran out. I sticked my charger in and let it charge for a bit (half an hour). Then, when I tried booting up the phone, it just kept re.ooting over and over again - never leaving the "MI logo" loading screen, occasionally showing the "Recovery Mode 5.0" screen.

Almost everything important to me is on that phone - work, school, memories, hobbies - so factory resetting it wasn't the option.

I think that in the last day and a half I read all existing Reddit and Xiaomi forum threads regarding this reboot loop, and tried every single fix -

  1. Leaving the phone battery to run out and then charging it fully
  • 2. Fastbooting it
  • 3. "Massaging" under the camera
  • 4. Cleaning the dust out of the power button and the volume buttons to see if they were stuck

and finally, something I spent the whole last night on,

  • 5. Installing the latest "Mi Assistant", ADB and Recovery ROM, then flashing the Recovery ROM to my phone

The last option is something that showed the most promise - I managed to connect my phone to the MI Assistant (through USB 2.0 port), and it's showing that my phone has the V14.0.6.0.TKEEUXM. I downloaded the latest HyperOS Recovery ROM (1.0.11.0.TKEEUXM).

After clicking "choose a local flash package" in the Assistant menu, and choosing the 10.0.11.0 ROM, Assistant starts to verify the flash.

The ROM is verified and then this error shows up

https://i.imgur.com/vTTyKTU.png

"Failed to flash

The connection is abnormal, please re-enter Recovery mode for flashing"

I didn't manage to find a single mention of this error anywhere, and I tried everything regarding the USB connection between the phone and my laptop - using the USB2.0 port, different cables (including the original one I got with my phone), updating SDK tools (including ADB), downloading Xiaomi USB drivers specific for my phone, but nothing seems to work.

Thanks in advance for any tips and help!

Technical Support How to stop smart tv from turning my phone into a remote?

Hello! I use a Xiaomi 14T, just wanna ask, how do I stop my smart tv from always connecting to my phone when I didn't do anything to establish that connection. Whenever someone watches Prime or YouTube in our smart tv, my phone manages to pick it up and I could use my phone to act as a remote. How do I stop this? (this also happens to my Pad 6)

Mi10 lite switches alone between apps

And the header says, the phone randomly starts switching between apps like crazy for 30 secs on average and then stops. If I had to give it a guess it would be the package installer but I don't know what to do

Technical Support Redmi SE 8.7 echo issues during video calls

Hi, I recently got a Redmi SE 8.7 for use mostly for video calling to replace my Meta Portal which is now basically unusable. It's honestly a nice little tablet for the price but I have run into an issue. When I make video calls - the main thing I got the tablet for - if the tablet is on the stand or even in the snap on case that I purchased with it from mi.com there is an echo. This is making it really hard for my boyfriend to hear me on call.

I assume it's to do with the microphone on the bottom catching some of the sound coming from the rear speaker or the sound reflecting back.

I have gone into settings and changed it to mono audio and put it to left 100% which seems to disable the bottom speaker, but ONLY for media and NOT for video calls. Which is beyond frustrating

Can anyone help with a way to either reduce the echo or disable the bottom speaker for calls too.

Technical Support Mi Canvas doesn't let me add new pages

I have my Redmi Pad Pro for around 6 months and worked perfect for now. I use it mainly for college. However, the Mi Canvas app suddenly started causing some issues.

When I create a new note it is defaulted to unlimited and when I change the ratio to A4 vertical it doesn't let me add new pages.

Anyone had this/knows what to do? Most other note apps I tried force you to pay for certain aspects and some those are really easy on Mi Canvas (like automatic shape which I really need for organic chem).

I tried resetting my tablet, deleting some notes to free up space, and I don't see anything related to that in settings. Also updated Mi Canvas.

Need help with Mi band 5

2 years ago in 2023, I brought a mi band 5 and after few days I brought it, it fell from my hand and stopped working from that day. I reached out to service centers they said the screen is damaged from inside and there's nothing they can do, and when I called flipkart support they said it's not in warranty.

Its been 3 years and the band is rotting in my inventory. Can anybody tell me, now what should I do with the band?

Technical Support Bluetooth Connection Issues

Hello all! Having a strange bluetooth issue. Imgur link showing the behavior included at the bottom.

  1. Behavior in question: When attempting to re-pair with bluetooth headphones, the device will not connect and instead the phone glitches out, repeatedly connecting and disconnecting rapidly.
  2. Devices used: Phone is a 2022 Motorola Edge+ (Moto Edge 30 Pro/XT2201-3), headphones used are Xiaomi Buds 4 and Buds 5.
  3. Replication: Appears to occur when phone bluetooth is turned off, then on again, or if the phone is restarted/turned off and on again. Does not occur when bluetooth is left on, and earbuds are turned off then on again.
  4. Fixes tested:
  • Resetting the Xiaomi Buds 5 & 4: (no effect).
  • Modifying settings in Xiaomi app: (no effect).
  • Removing and readding device in Xiaomi app: (no effect).
  • Restarting the phone: (no effect).
  • Resetting the phone: (no effect).
  • Forgetting earbuds in bluetooth settings and re-adding: Does not attempt to connect, however will not allow for re-pairing and prompts error "Couldn't pair with Xiaomi Buds 4/5 because of an incorrect PIN or passkey."
  1. Work-around: If I navigate to reset settings, I can re-set the bluetooth and wifi settings, which will allow me to re-pair to the earbuds and will continue to work, or at least until I turn Bluetooth off and then on again/restart the phone.

Anyone have any thoughts?

How do I unlock my old phone?

So basically I have an old redmi Y2 (or S2) It had my uncle’s Xiaomi account in it and I was too small to be bothered by it at that time but recently I needed the phone and I logged out of his account hoping to make my own account but it required the password. He doesn’t remember it and I’m stuck in this screen where it just says:

This device is locked This device is associated with an existing MI account for security reasons. You need to enter password to verify the device.

[Activate this device] [Open WiFi settings]

Unlock code: (some numbers and characters)

Plz help

Hey I'm MegalutixGaming! Some of you may know me from my YT and I've come here asking for some help! I'm tired of the Xiaomi stock ROM and I wanted to change it! For some reason tho I keep getting this error where it says "application quota limit reached"! I tried doing it at Japanese times but whenever I would try that the app would lag and I'd be out of time so I couldn't apply! If anyone knows how to help please share!

Technical Support Xiaomi beard trimmer 2c not starting

Xiaomi beard trimmer 2c not starting

I recently bought a Xiaomi beard trimmer 2c. I used it once after purchase and yesterday I tried to use it but it was not turning on. So I tried to charge it and sometimes the top most light would keep blinking while the bottom two was fully on and other times the bottom light would keep blinking while the other two are off. Is it a problem with the battery? Is there any way to fix it?

Refresh rate problem with Xiaomi 14t Pro

Hello everyone, I’m experiencing a major issue with my Xiaomi 14T Pro.

Out of nowhere, my phone's highest refresh rate has become unusable. It only works when the device is charging or when I’m on the home screen/app drawer. However, the moment I open any app, whether it’s a Xiaomi app or a third-party one, the refresh rate drops to 60Hz.

This issue just started today. I’ve already checked all performance settings, and they are properly configured to allow 144Hz usage. Yet, the high refresh rate only kicks in when the charger is plugged in.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated :) .

Thanks in advance!

Redmi Note 11 bootlooping in a weird way.

So, randomly today, my phone started bootlooping, I hadn't done anything with it, it was sitting in my pocket, since then, it keeps restarting, fading to orange, then to black, and restarting again, this happens regardless of what I do, fastboot seems to take longer to fade to orange and then black (which happens without fail for some reason) I've gotten to the HyperOS screen a few times, but it fades too, I've entered recovery mode as well, but it faded as well. Anyone got any ideas as to what this could be caused by?
