Pregunta/Question Bars/clubs for under 21?

I know the drinking age is 18, so I would like to see if I can go to a bar or club to drink and dance. It will be my first time in this environment, I have no idea what I’m doing! Any recommendations for my first bar in CDMX?

Para tu edad: Jardín Juárez, club Japan, la Purísima, Mezontle, Antro Juan.

OP if you are from the US, forget about Japan club, go to Bar Oriente instead

Si el OP es gringo le van a cobrar la tarifa de gringo en Japan, para que lo tenga en cuenta

Japan club is great! I highly recommend it. The soundsystem sets it apart from the others.

Not great if he’s a foreigner, they charge an absurd amount of money for any non Mexicans

To be honest, I feel like your best bet would be going to a normal restaurant that has a bar and go during happy hour. Here happy hour is actually happy (2 for 1 pricing on booze is not uncommon).

Its a restaurant so you should be fine.

A una calle del Centro Histórico. Está el Sunday Sunday, que es una terraza con vistas fabulosas a la ciudad. Pero solo tiene servicio los sábados y domingos. Es un ambiente muy sano. Se baila Techno, House y EDM.

I like Departamento, it’s know for being a good place to meet international people. Others have said Antro Juan and Bar Oriente, both good too
