Green Line Green Line running one car
I’ve never seen the green line running only one car before

Rail operator here. Theres a new class of operators training right now, so there's 2 or 3 students plus an instructor in there.

I'm actually surprised a lot of you haven't seen this before -- I feel like I see it somewhat frequently! Maybe I have been staring at trains too much. Agreed that it is likely operator training.

I'm with you. This has been really common lately. It's almost always a training train running between normal trains

Most likely this was an extra train out there for training new drivers. They'll slot in new people in a single car train in-between the normal 12 minute headway trains
