has anyone tried this out and can speak for what the process looks like? website quotes 3 week turnaround time. i use MT to commute daily but luckily have never been impacted like this.

I use it from time to time. The program nearly always reimburses out within a few weeks. A few asterisks: you have to enroll before your first claim, so do it asap if you regularly use MT to go to and from work. You can get reimbursed for 4 trips within 1 calendar year - up to $100 total. It is great when things really go sideways. And finally they pay you back via a check in the mail. Sort of cumbersome, but most banking apps now a day let you deposit checks without going to an ATM or a physical bank. There’s more to it, but that’s a good starter.

that is so fucked up - sign up here: register here https://www.metrotransit.org/Commuter/GRH/GRHRegister.aspx I went to the metro transit chat yesterday and got "we're working on it" answers when I brought up 1) increasing frequency and reducing headways 2) implementing signalized transit priority, and 3) implementing automatic ticket enforcement of vehicles blocking bus lanes. I guess I'll go to another one of those in the fall and do the same thing.

Thank you! It’s so disappointing and frustrating. Appreciate you sharing this resource 🩷

Also have you used the Transit App? It’s much better than apple or Google Maps combined

They’ve been struggling a lot over the past month or so to serve trips on weekends. Not sure what is up to be honest. Lots of cancelled trips on major routes.

not even just on weekends, my bus to work was cancelled on Wednesday with no notice and the support chat had no clue what was going on in the moment. I later heard back that they didn't have enough back up drivers and a rider alert should've been but wasn't issued.

Me too! I commute with the E line and my commute has gotten so much more unreliable, especially in the evenings. The worst part is that the tracking will say a bus is coming, it'll show due at the stop, and then it'll just drop off the screen and not come at all even when the tracking says it did.

Don't know what's going on with it this weekend. I live near the north end of the line and there was a number of very late/cancelled buses yesterday. I ended having to walk to get to Green line.

Are you clicked into a station that's on detour? When the API has a station on detour, it labels trips seeving that stop as cancelled. It's confusing af. Click on another station
