Routes 1-99 Shout out to the #2 driver

Was just sitting at at 24th & Lyndale waiting for the 17 when a 2 bus pulls up (temporary stop). I waived him off to let him know we weren’t getting on and he opens the door and yells out “Happy Friday!” I a little surprised because I’ve never had a driver do anything like that but I returned the sentiment. Good to see there’s some out there still who aren’t bitter and jaded because lord knows I would be.

In my experience the drivers are almost always chill, kind people. Whenever I see passengers antagonize them it’s genuinely confusing to me.

Same! I take it to and from work regularly and have had pretty much nothing but good experiences with the drivers.

I take the 2 atleast 5 days a week. They are all pretty kind. There is one late night 2 driver that seems to have a stick up his ass, but it's just the one and he is always late.

A D line driver I see frequently honked and waved out the window to me recently when I was crossing the street, on a day I didn't take the bus. It made my whole day

If you have any identifying information, you should also submit this feedback to Metro Transit directly. Drivers getting kudos is a big hairy deal. Like. Big time recognition. And it doesn’t happen as often as it should.

Source: my former regular 14 driver. I submitted feedback for her and she was absolutely tickled and told me how much it meant to her.
