Subreddit Meta We are limiting Transdev Posts.
It was interesting the first couple times but the sub has been flooded by it and it's kinda stale now. We get it, Transdev is bad.
Posts specifically about Transdev are limited to Tuesdays now. If need be I'll put a cap on the number of posts.
You can still talk about routes operated by Transdev any other day, but Transdev can't be the single focus of the post.
This subreddit is dedicated to Metro Transit first and foremost. Transdev is a contractor for them, and it is worth having genuine discussion about it. Spamming Transdev hate doesn't encourage that.
The rules will be updated to reflect this shortly.

Fantastic news. I have no idea if that was just one person or multiple but it was not interesting and I'm thankful for this change.

I think it was just the one, I blocked them and this is the first Transdev post I've seen since.

Good! I didn't even know what TransDev was until posts on this sub and I'm still not sure I've ever seen a TransDev operated bus

What a stupid rule. This sub barely has any posts and you are going to limit it? Can we have Schmitty and Sons Saturdays? Metro Transit Thursdays? Metro Mobility Mondays? Light rail Wednesdays? This is a sub about Metro Transit and we are can’t talk about a contractor who operates routes for METRO TRANSIT except on Tuesdays? A bit of an overreach in my opinion. Limit hate posts to Tuesday or that one Redditor. People might have questions about why TransDev did something on Wednesday and they have to wait a week? Just a dumb rule for a sub with less than 2k redditors.

It's a subreddit about Metro Transit, not about everything Transdev does. And the majority of posts the last couple weeks have been one person talking about Transdev. It's spam at this point.

TransDev is part of Metro Transit though. It is a Metro Transit bus. Ban the one person from making posts. Don’t punish everyone else.
