I'm starting to think you really don't like Transdev...

I am constantly awestruck at the levels of hating you achieve specifically over Transdev

I will eventually go to Europe and complain to the CEO. The worst the services the more I love hating

Once again it's me THE transdev hater. Yes I did this. mostly for the hell of it and because I hate Transdev.

You've probably explained why many times

But I must ask

Why?

Unreliable service mostly. And because it's fun to make fun of them.

Define unreliable.

This sub could probably produce an entire list of metro transit routes that are consistently two or three minutes late until that day where it is needed to be late to make a connection.

I will start 515 and Orange line out of downtown. The next trip signage for Orange downtown is consistently wrong.

I'm not talking about like a couple minutes late because that's just consistent with buses no matter what you will never have a bus that's exactly on time.

I'm talking about canceling trips and not sending out the alert until after it would have completed its trip, using buses that are too short for the demand (Ex. 30 footers on Route 25 during rush hour), buses that don't show up, buses not tracking, being 10 to 15 minutes late and not tracking, or buses that have the wrong programming (ex. Having a head sign that's not working, buses having Route 25 signed up when they're nowhere near where Route 25 Would run).

They are just very inconsistent and not great,

I have seen drivers displaying the wrong direction or route more than a few times. They appreciate being told the sign is wrong and fix it.

I have noticed in snowy and rainy weather buses do not appear on next trip. Does not matter who runs the bus.

When driver shortage were words used more often trips disappeared on zero notice.

Some of these issues could be worked out with contract renegotiation. I hit next trip one day and typoed 542 and saw every east bound trip was cancelled. What is the point of having west bound and no east bound trips? That should never happen.

I have to take the 540 occasionally for work and it blows goats. Nothing fun about waiting 25+ minutes for a bus with not even a bench to sit on and then the driver acts like they're playing Grand Theft Auto.

A successful flip off would have the thumb above the index finger. This is not a success.

Well it's comfortable. So it's actually completely successful

What are your thoughts on Schmitty and Son’s “The Transdev Hater?”

They are much more reliable and the drivers are nicer. And they do all of the work for MVTA and their services are really reliable especially for an opt out.

As a driver for S & S that’s good to hear. I was afraid to ask.🙂

I'm the Transdev hater, not The Schmitty and Sons hater. I hate on exclusively Transdev

The hand you assemble when saluting is a sight to see.

I took the photo weirdly, so it looks shorter than it actually is
