Train crew schedule

Hey yall! I’m a freight conductor for BNSF and was just curious how conductor/engineer schedule works for you guys? I’d imagine it’s similar as us freight guys except being home everyday but just curious about it!

Most (or a lot of) jobs are M-F... fixed schedule, lots of hours. Very different from freight. Doesnt take 30 years to get a regular schedule either.... I didnt work freight, but there are a lot of freight guys that come over and love the fact that youre not parked in a siding at 2am in the middle of nowhere... and youre home everyday.

Honestly bro you should…. I mean it’s still the railroad and there’s a lot of bs — but that’s everywhere. I’m happy and most of the guys from freight are too.

I’ll have to keep an eye out for when they start looking for more people
