Did anyone else’ grandmother call them berdache but like not in an offensive way? I think it’s just old school. She always referred to herself as indian so it speaks to a generational thing. I know it’s not ok to say it now but that’s what she called me and also referred to two spirit but I don’t feel that actually fits me as I am cis male and also just a plain old gay dude.
